Judgemental, I will cry with you until the cows come home, I really will, I’m fucking gutted but some people don’t care and why would they if they’re not interested in football?
One thing that cracked me up despite all the shitness of recent days was the BBC’s website that had a section for ‘Mourinho leaves Chelsea’ and one for ‘Other Football News’ which I think says it all.
I felt a sense of closure on Saturday reading articles on Reuters quoting Mourinho as saying he doesn’t want a player exodus or fans protesting, thinking that maybe he was happy to leave but then I read shit like this and this that claims Terry betrayed his manager and Abramavich was lecturing Essien on tactics. I don’t know what to believe anymore.

    Still gutted.

[But hoping we beat insane’s lot in a few hours- as unlikely as that is under the circumstances].

last line (below) says it all m8. Whose gonna want to play for us now? Frank and Drogs are so going to Spain or where ever Jose ends up. I find it almost spooky that when Vialli was sacked to make way for Ranieri the next game was ManU away on the 23rd September but we drew 3-3 then :(.

“Out with the old, in with the new. Furious at Mourinho’s dismissal, senior players describe Grant’s appointment as ‘a disgrace’. Some at Cobham call him ‘an idiot’ and describe his coaching techniques as ’25 years behind the times’. Abramovich pushes the Israeli around ‘without a hint of respect’.

Former academy coach Brendan Rogers has been drafted in to help out with the first team, a promotion that may not be unconnected to the one-on-one training sessions he gave Abramovich’s son. Only in Steve Clarke is there the level of football knowledge to deal with a squad full of international superstars. As the sole survivor of Mourinho’s cadre of four assistant managers, the Scotsman has an unenviable task.

But then neither he nor Grant will be picking the team. As Michael Essien discovered on Tuesday night, the new manager of Chelsea is also the owner.”

    That doesn’t sound good Judge
But then I don’t want to further rain on the parade, but I’m not sure exactly how most Chelsea fans thought this would end. A rich billionaire coming in to a club, chucking money around and treating it as some kind of toy for his enjoyment, it’s never gonna end happy. Sooner or later he’ll tired of his toy and move on.
But I don’t think this is the end, yet. Grant won’t stay long, leading to Roman redirecting his other employee Hiddink to a management role at Chelsea in the very near future.

well the reports from the Hiddink camp is that he is not in the frame (which probably means he’ll on the next plane). You’re right tho Dutch I remember wondering what would come of ManU when they went public.

Can’t see Grant lasting either, yet to see the game (because it was on at 3am) so I’ll watch it tonight. Maybe when Roman realises that a Puppet manager isn’t going to work and Avram will be a scapegoat after a string of kak results and we’re fighting our way out of the drop zone.

Fun times ahead.. it was good while it lasted…thats football eh.

Nail on the head there, Pharts.

This vid cracks me up & sums up my thoughts on the chavs game:

For those that don’t know, the guy with the dog is Josh Lewsey, the England rugby player. Not that that says much in the World Cup so far….but let’s not go there otherwise we’ll have our resident Bok mentioning the phrase “nil points” 🙁

That’s rugby league you muppet. Also, as a trivia point, Chris Morris went to the same school as Kyran Braken (Ex-England world cup winner), Ian Balshall (England(ish) rugby world cup winner) and which Brian Ashton (current England Rugby coach) coached rugby. Will Greenwood attended the school till he was 13 but went to Sedburgh as they offered him a sports scholarship. Oh, and Mark Thompson the director of the BBC also went there. Anyway, the point is that I personally love most sports but if it comes down to it (as it did the other week) I would rather watch the England Rugby team than the football team, I just think is is a better game, from the team aspect of it (it is far more of a team game than football) to the respect that the fans and players show for each other. The Referee is also respected and backchat is minimal and punished, rugby players make far better role models for children than football playeers in their commitment to a violent game, whilst still showing respect.

However I am aware that people will disagree, just as I disagree with most of rugby league!

(second one he broke a rib but was perfectly legitimate, especially as Matt Rogers had thrown a punch at him at the beginning of the clip (about 5 mins earlier)

and chabal, my fave player playing for france

also broke someones jaw when they tried to tackle him in the same game.

P.P.S. people talk about rugby being gay, what about the homo celebrations of football players hugging and kissing each other when they score a goal?!
