Guys, we need to think about how we are going to fill up our COD server, its never played on? 🙁 Ideas welcome.
Like any server it needs at least two people on it to start it up. What’s wrong with a few 1v1’s before a night’s killing starts 🙂
It’s all about where we get the first two people though, what do we use? TS, MSN, XFIRE etc etc???

Defintateley though, our severs need action and we’re doing fuck all about it at the moment!! Come on!! :inspirational smilie:Might help if you hactually played on it yourself, its never going to fill if you all F off on other servers.. which unfortunatly is done due to ours being empty alot.. so bit of sods law 🙁
only takes a few to get it going.. The Hardcore server used to fill up(ish) quickly when we played on it.. err… maybe you should all get on that one.. but you will have to go to RA (Rankers Annonymous) to get over your loss of virtual medals.. Speaking of Virtual Medals.. I think you Rankers should go and join RIP people, they seem to acknowledge there generals and lieutenants 🙂
I’ve tried to play on it, but first I’m not sure whether it shows up on the ingame browser and my efforts, so far, have been by myself anyway.
No matter the game, we tend to drift to other servers when we’re the first online, and this propogates. In TF2 for example, we can see when others join games or come online, and this helps fill the server, but can this be done with COD? We’re not quite there yet for fully supporting our own server in TF2, but tonight was a good example of us working well together for it (it was active from 6pm to 2am). Still that wouldn’t have happened had it not been for msn and steam. How do we work the same for COD is the question?
Ive been on it with 8 or so other for half an hour, and no one else comes… because it doesnt show up in the browser!!
did GoNz0 from the rats not say it was a server prob and that the server needed to be turned off for 1/2 hour and then it shows up, a recent patch i think….cant be ared looking for original post
Original post has reply from me saying I turned the servers off for nearly a full day.. so should show up if true.. I shall do again now though
Yay, I’m back online after the christmas holidays so want to get a bit of COD4 done on my shiny new 20″ widescreen monitor. Everything is sooooo wide!

So it’s a problem with the hosts then? 1 month left on the contract I believe so might be a good time to complain.

10 of us, plus the rats, plus others. Gonzo said he might be able to hook us up with a deal with Rackage.
Got to be worth a look, as the dedicated server still seems to be really choppy 😕
aye.. rackage ftw at the mo.. unless we host with them.. isnt there host crap as they come into temp home alot 😉

before xmas i was online (bf2) at about 10pm ish.. most days.

anyhoos .. what I’ve done is add colour to the name..
=XDC= is in Bright Yellow COD4 is in white and the rest Bright yellow.. you shuold be able to see it in the ingame browser
