ParticipantFook me this Orange box just gets better and better
This was released recently (I think yesterday) I just had a go at this and have to say it’s brilliant.. absolute genius puzzle game and very entertaining, I’m not normally a puzzle lover unless its Puzzle Bobble which I loved when it was out but this is great fun.. and so different
The orange box if your tighter than a nuns minge and have’nt got it yet is a great purchase

ParticipantThis Orange Box thing does sound good. Pity it’s on Steam because that annoying heap of scrud clinkers is never going on any computer I own ever again.

Participantha many people say that.. whats the problem with it.. I’ve never had an issue with steam, granted you’ve probably used it longer than I have :/
October 11, 2007 at 2:36 pm #59910crazy hippo
Participanti have never had anything major happen with steam and i have used it since it was launched.
tbh i wish that more of these digital download services were more like steam.October 11, 2007 at 10:35 pm #59911XDCJuDgE-MenTaL
ParticipantI hated Steam when it first came out but now I have to tip my hat to it. I just copied the whole lot to another drive (deleted client.bob file) and no problems and now to another PC and still no problems no need to sit there waiting to install my games again off crappy CDs the download some 200 meg patch from some slow a$$ wanky host. New communities stuff is pretty tidy too tons off geeky stats etc + you can see how sh1t at games your m8’s are.
Portal is genius although maybe a bit short and not as taxing as it perhaps could have been. That said, I had no expectations of it so it’s a very nice bonus and certainly makes the discounted pre-release Orange Box even more of a steal.
SOIA do it m8 it’s a different beast now. It’s so nice not to have to f**k about with patches, no cd cracks and all that other bollox even scratched disk nightmares etc + the back catalogue on steam is immense now too. They are successfully cutting out a big chunk of middleman and passing the saving on.

Participantok, I finally retrieved my steam account which I hadnt used since bf2 came out
Got a lot of shite on it, what do I need to dl for this Orange thingy?
October 12, 2007 at 8:15 am #59914sickofitall
ParticipantSo I take it that it Steam no longer:
Adds 25 minutes to you PC startup.
Takes 3 days to download anything off it.
Randomly jumps up from the start menu and minimises/crashes any game you are currently playing (unless it’s already on Steam, in which case this never happened – conveniently).
Gets up in the middle of the night, drinks all your milk and leaves your fridge door open.If I am going to wank up my PC with it can someone tell me what else is available on it? Not including:
Orange box
RO
Completely toss Populace/RTS type bollocks called Virus or somethingI just remembered yesterday that I completely missed NOLF2 and was gonna buy that today. Is that on it by any chance?
