woooo, new pyro weapon unlocks this thursday with the completion of class specific achievements.

Plus it’s a free weekend, so any of you reprobate who don’t play TF2 because they didn’t wanna shell out, go get it. It’s worth it, i promise.

Well done, is that the 3rd unlock? That’s some serious healing if you’ve got that far :)…I’ve been spamming medic lately while my computer’s been preventing me playing soldier, but still a long way off 2nd unlock 🙁
Critz seems to be only useful when used on a heavy, so you should try it out on Beer or Vipe’s, they’re both good with the class 🙂

Seconded, I still can’t believe how many of us have overlooked this, it’s the best teamplay game on the market.
Kritzkrieg is the second, third is the Ubersaw (less damage than the bonesaw but charges uber). I don’t find the Kritkrieg as useful as Uber, the person you use it on generally forgets your there and you get taken down. It charges faster (especially when you have Ubersaw, 3 hits charges it.) but yea useful on Heavies and Soldiers, about it.
and 3rded TF2 beats anything else out there at the moment for teamplay…FACT. Especially as I now get the odd game with Alzir and Beer when I stay up late 🙂
I do enjoy TF2 😀 Must play it more often. It’s a great all round game to play. Pity more of us don’t play it.
I’ll have another dabble when I pick up new PC.. theres only so much cartoonyness I can take though, I prefer realism alot but I will agree it’s a lot of fun 🙂

Nice… eat rocket, soldier boys…. Not sure that allowing the pyro to seperate the medic from his “patient” during Uber is such a good thing. Mind you Sentrys do that too….hmmm.

Yea you’d hope there would be some skill required to use it too. Also going to be one of those things that will be annoying with high pings…like face stabs.
Speaking of Left 4 Dead.. anyone dabbling in this, its very highly rated and appears to offer superb gameplay 🙂
*gets it backthe range on the push thing isnt that great but it’s ace if you use it right. Managed to seperate the ubered players a few times then toast them off. Also head to head with a pyro if you get in first you can then knock the opponent back and have another crack at them also timing a soldiers rocket deflection or blowing away the demomans bombs is pretty ace I’m sure they will all get their counter measures in good time. The one thing tho is that it takes about 25 off your ammo every use so theoretically you only have 8 before you are out of ammo. Im already 2 off getting my flare gun so I’ll report back when I get it 😉
Well got them all yesterday, glad you only need 22 for all 3 unlocks.
Flare gun is pretty good against snipers but not much else, might stick to the shotty.
Backburner is great, you lose the airfist but gain an extra 50HP, its the best ambush weapon. I had this with a medic on the C cap of Gravelpit and no one got up. That said, the Airfist is equally good at pushing off ubers from the top, causes a lot of rage quits :).
Axtinguisher, it looks the part and is fun when you go in pairs with 1 pyro ligting the players and the ther pyro spamming the axe, great fun. On your own your probably still better off with the shotgun.
I thought too myself last Wednesday ‘ooOOoo it’s free this weekend, i’ll have to see what all the hype is about, those Meet the.. vids are funny’
