if i have 800mhz DDR2 RAM in my mobo that supports max speed of 800mhz i may be able to OC it a bit along with my other components…

Now.. presumably i can stick 1066mhz stuff in the same mobo and itll run at 800mhz as standard? and when oc’ing the other bits the RAM will be well within its limits??

so… Is it worth going for 1066mhz stuff at 80-90 quid ? or just going for good 800mhz stuff like Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX TwinX for 60 quid…?

having said all that… im thinking of going for an AM2 5000 black… so might end up simply upping the multiplier and not oc’ing the ram or anything else at all…
