Server Crash?

How to crash a server in game:

While running our server I’ve noticed that it would sporadically crash at random times, usually during Caspian, Kharg or Firestorm. After about a week of this I sat down with other members of our clan and did some brain storming. We came up with a theory that our server crashing was some how related to me getting and exclusively using TV Missiles on the attack helicopter.

We were right. TV missiles crash entire servers! We did it several times on our test server and it IS repeatable. In an effort to help DICE I am going to list the step by step instructions on how this works in hopes of DICE fixing these problem.

REQUIREMENTS:
You need a gunner who has TV missiles unlocked.
You need a pilot (Obviously)
You need a squad member who is ready to spawn somebody waiting next to the chopper to get in while it’s on the ground.

Once you meet those requirements any server is at an incredibly high risk of crashing. How does it happen? I’ll tell you.

When the gunner fires the TV missile he “leaves” the cockpit and creates an open spawn point between when he fires and before the missile detonates. If the third player was to spawn in on the chopper while the gunner was “out of the cockpit” he will sit in the gunner seat as if he normally spawned in. Once the missile detonates the gunner will “return” to the chopper and three people will be visible in an other wise two seated vehicle. If at ANY TIME the chopper is destroyed via enemy fire or crashing while the three people are in the chopper the server *WILL* crash. I have repeated this a total of SIX TIMES tonight on our server without fail. There is no work around for this and it can happen accidentally or purposely if players wanted.

Servers are DYING because of this. When this first happened our server had 64 players and then all of the sudden after our chopper was shot down our server crashed! I was stupefied and left wondering what happened but after repeatedly doing this for an entire week I finally narrowed it down to what I listed above. I hope this gets fixed by DICE ASAP and I feel that it constitutes an emergency hot-fix. Server patch R9 can’t come soon enough and I believe I discovered one of the major reasons your servers are crashing.
