How do i setup TS to work so that i can hurl abuse at peeps after they kill me for the upteenth time, and still talk to squad members privately?
When i try and set TS up to work on a different key/button to voice in game, i can use it but it makes a rapid clicking noise( like i,ve keyed up 2 keys together)….and if i set TS to work on voice activation and in game voice to work from my mouse3 button, surely everyone will be able to hear me yeah? 🙄

When you say clicking do you mean the windows, lick…bleep sound? I dont think i found a way around that, same games dont mind you pressing a key down, some do, it depends what key you use – usually i dont fuss around with key activation, i have mine on voice – and yeah, ur right, if u speak – itll auto pick it up depending on where abouts you put the sensitive of ur mic in TS, if u set it low, and u whisper – ull be heard, set it high – and youl have to speak up to be heard, recommended if you utter obsencities often. 😆
Use the middle mouse button as push to talk.
That what i have always used and never had any problems.
the clicking sound normally only happens when you have the TS window open on screen……….click off the screen or minimise the TS window and the clicking should dissapear….hope that helps…. 😀

Yeah that bleep type sound is the one! 🙄 …i,ll give the voice activation a go, set at high as i do tend to swear alot while playing! 😆

Noooooooooo don’t have voice activation on!! Its just not the done thing! It causes all sorts of problems (mainly for everyone else on TS) – feedback from your speakers/headphones mainly, tv/music, snoring (eh Justice 😉 ). Trust me.

or better still.. trust WiserowlNom and get ventrillo.. you wont be able to hear the BF guys though hehe but it will make you sound all crispy and normal

Heh. Wipers speaketh the truth. There’s nothing worse than hearing someone chatting with their kids for 5 minutes in the middle of a heated battle. I find it destroys the atmosphere:
“I need a Medic!”
“Enemy Gunship!”
“Supply drop your area!”
“I want to go to wee wee.”
