and download EOD 1.1 for BF2… NOW!!
This makes BF2 into an astounding Vietnam Game. The maps are works of art.. no really… i could hang it on the wall and charge people to look at it. There are some insane bottlenecks and hill top battles which give an extreme adrenalin rush. The guns work which makes for supperb fights and team work is a must if you are to survive 30 seconds.
The atmosphere in the jungle is intense. The foliage is so thick you can walk past your enemy and miss each other if you are not listening for foot steps. and a flock of birds flying up ahead of you on the trail is enough to make a whole squad dive for cover at once. If you are lying on the ground there is no way the enemy will spot you unless they stand on you. I played most of the game last night holding my breath!
mortors make a welcome return as do bouncing Betties. the sound effects are amazing and the sound of a mortor screaming over head is enough to make you wet your pants
it has been a long time since i enjoyed a game so much..

Tried it.. its alreet… but got pissed off with gerrin shot by gooks who seem to know your everymove *granted it was on SP*
Also I kept gettin stuck down holes … which you cant get out of.. I’ll deffo give it a go as its still installed and i dont think I played online.. or did i.. jebus I forget 🙂
oh yeah had to say I loved the jeeps at night with there headlights.. spooky!
Sorted server issue out.. got on a couple .. out of 20ish.. they were all empty!!
Not to mention too many CTD’s *Forgot all about them since stopped playing* .. Shame really
i downloaded this the day it came out and was never able to get a multiplayer game working, it was ok on single apart from the vc were all expert marksmen but for some reason it would never show up any servers in the ingame browser…………..most odd!
shall try again when i can be arsed.
no rush.. past 2 nights I’ve never seen a single sole on any server with this MOD :/
p.s. lol .. how amazing are the VC and there aim in SP.. they can even tell where your gonna be .. for example.. walking up a hill to get into a good position ready to rain down gunfire.. they started shooting where they think I’d end up before I started making the climb.. theres no chance of sneaking up the hill as a sniper.. your dead before you know it! Most annoying.. but still cant complain as games like this are never meant to be played in SP 🙂
