This is why I don’t really remember the 5th of November

I doubt many of you will appreciate this but check this video out for maybe a slight insight into the strength of feeling back where I come from regarding some sovereignty issues.

Tonight is bonfire night for us, and I honestly think this is getting out of control. 8 years ago I was working beside where they built one of these monstrosities for example, and we heard the next day that the fire brigade had to hose down the houses 300 yards from it just to keep them from catching fire – now we are seeing the same thing everywhere! This is how you do a bonfire though, and it’s very phallic in places, so Paddy should enjoy.

Oh and you’ll see many union jacks and even st andrews crosses (aka “flegs” – for an explanation see – https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=flegs) on a few of the bonfires but don’t worry they’ll be removed by the time those are lit. The flegs are pretty much an indication of who built them, unless it’s a tricolour. I’m not sure about the wee NEDS/Chavs/Spidey fucks, on the bonfire at 1:04 though, they may (hopefully) be considered fuel.
