November 30, 2006 at 9:44 am #40651CowboyUKParticipantWOW!
It reminds me of the time I went down the hill at the back of my mate Matt’s house standing on a tea tray.

November 30, 2006 at 2:03 pm #40652XDC_WolfParticipantif he stacks it, he should pay for the mountain recue though, I’m ot in total agreement with people who put themselves at extreme risks for the sake of doing something (because it’s there) being rescued at the expense of others, or the mountain rescue teams who could spend their money elsewhere, helping peole who have got in to trouble through no fault of their own. At least the pioneers (hillary et al) of mountaineering didbn’t expect to be pulled of a mountain if they fell and brooke a leg, because there wasn’t the support there.
Pretty cool though!
November 30, 2006 at 2:43 pm #40653XDCNeonSamuraiParticipantWolf you are such an old woman. Just because some guys do narly things (how did I know it was ‘narly’ ‘cos they all said it was, every 5 minutes), that doesn’t mean we should try and limit their Xtreme (which I’ve spelt in an extreme way) lifestyles. Although if they were doing all this in the US, don’t their mountain rescue teams have credit card swipes to check the potential victims credit balance 😉
However I think Divine Comedy summed it up better in a song:
ThrillSeeker
When you hang by a thread
Strange things go through your head
What was in that woodshed?
Will death be gentle?
“;Better to live one day like a lion
Than a thousand sheepishly”;,
Say dead oriental…I’m a thrillseeker honey¡ªI can’t help it
I would kill for that feeling now I’ve felt it
I’m a thrillseekerIf you live by the sword
You will reap your reward
Death by faulty rip-cord or loose caribiner
But it’s my absolute right
To kill myself if I like
And now it looks like I might’ve finally succeeded
And I don’t careWhen they finally come
I’ll be stuck there like gum
Frying under the sun¡ªeggs over easy
But it’s my triumph of will
Just to stay alive ’til
They’ve spent several million trying to save me
Albeit vainly
I don’t want your moneyI’m a thrillseeker honey¡ªI can’t help it
I’d kill for that feeling now I’ve felt it
It’s the cruellest of hands but I’ve been dealt it
I can see it, I can feel it, I hear itNovember 30, 2006 at 4:44 pm #40654sickofitallParticipantI think my knew hero Mike Strutter summed up Extreme Sports perfectly when he was presenting his new clip show and had the skateboarders on.
I can’t remember anyone ever on TV before who I’ve agreed with so much. He’s on MTV1 tonight at 10.30 and honestly, he should be Prime Minister.
Either that or stick his name in Youtube and you’ll get the odd clip. His “Whoresbox†is a great idea it has to be said (it’s probably NSFW by the way, unless some bloke calling everyone “fucking cocksuckers” at the top of his voice coming out of your PC is allowed – probably best to warn you in advance).
November 30, 2006 at 4:50 pm #40655DeicistParticipantIs that Paul Kaye?
