Some interesting photography posts around atm.

On another subject… im looking to do some video editing with my new pooter when it comes – any advice re progs to use?

I have used windows movie maker in the past and got some ok results – but I can never seem to keep the picture quality perfect no matter how I try to save it.

How can I get perfect video reproduction sorted out? Whats the best package?

    I have a 3ccd panasonic video camera.

Are you using an ilink cable to connect up? USB is rubbish… well with my sony camcorder it is.

Im using the Ulead package, and I like it, not too complicated, and pretty cheap…

I’ve made a few videos in my time and I thought that the software used by Pinnacle is pretty awesome, especially if you are trying to edit it along with music.

Adobe Premiere is great too, but I found that one better for adding effects, sounds and other audio tracks to an already completed movie.

Not done much, but I had big problems with Pinnacle doing anything longer than a few minutes. Crashed each time it tried to render the final movie.

Pinnacle seems to have a problem with the size of the movies you can render. Anything above 540mb and I had the same problems you have. However, when used in conjunction with premiere it’s very good. You can use the Adobe software to patch together all the scenes you did in Pinnacle into the final movie.
