THe 3-0 dubbin – It’s making the run in for the title too close for my liking.I’m still convinced that the iPhone is the way to go. Can’t wait for the next installment as I’m sticking with my 3g and going to leapfrog the 3gs.
That said, the Nexus is probably the phone I’d get if not whoring Apple.

Oh yeah and post the results, for better or worse they gots to be posted 🙂Lams: I’m sorry if we’ve impacted your enjoyment of the game mate. And I’ll say now that no XDCs will ever be ‘fucked off’ from the team. But yeah, we do play for enjoyment but that stems from winning. We can’t help that and I’m really enjoying the competitive side of this game.
As for XCC Lee? He plays alright head-to-head but Be A Pro games are very different. NO way is that guy going any again though after the tonking we got last night! Give him a few more games but as I mentioned on chat last night, the problem is now that he’s gone too far the other way and doesn’t talk at all because of our comments on him talking. It’s all about the happy middle ground.
I enjoy the stats because it’s how you see you improving in the game. I like to know that I’m getting better (or worse as the case may be?)
Sprogs, we can’t fuck you off now mate no matter how bad you ever get. You don’t just add to the game on the field, you add to the banter in chat too! And fair play you been bangin’ them in just as much as everyone else. Should be due another Sprogy spectacular though, it’s been a while 😉
I think good players are always a welcome addition. We got that midfield to fill up!

Nicely done on the postin’. The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes you’ll get a low rating but have actually played a good game (honest!)
Mind you, that fk I scored in the final game where we got tonked *dum-dum, tsh*must have been at least 40 yards out!
Positions? Hmmm I know I whore up the LS position rather a lot. The only real set position is Wavy on the basis that his P:G ratio is through the roof, add to that he’s probably our least selfish player to boot! Dan’s been putting in a good stint at ANY so I think we’re all quite happy with that. The rest? Very much open to debate. We’re all pretty inter-changeable and if someone really wants a go upfront but keeps getting stuck in midfield then I’m sure we’ll swap about for a bit.
Hardest thing about having 6 of us on (which is even better fun than normal) is about the communication. I’m quite surprised for such a bunch of sarcy c*nts we’re unusually quiet at times during the game. I sense a whole lot of eyebrows knotted together in concentration.
Just had another look at those scores, they’re a bit off as the stats are for us overall, not this season where we’re 22 – something – 27 at last count yesterday.
Someone else can be postin’ the results but had to stop in (now that Alzir’s reminded me how), we had some storming results last night! It’s all about getting that win-lose ratio the right way round. I’m optimistic that my 9 streak will fall soon and I can’t wait!
Shame my shooting wasn’t all that yesterday but at least I was putting in the Beckemesque, long-ball setups 🙂

Cool mate just wanted to make sure. It’s funny you mention about the xdc philosophy as it’s always been with that in mind why I ge a bit funny about disconnecting on games or blocking keepers.
Your right about wanting to have fun on the game over all else but I find FIFA really does test that to the limit when getting beat all the time. BAP team play is (to me) more reliant than any other game Ive played on good team play.
Anywho, ws picked up two wins last night – sprogs in the any role for both. That 6-0 thumping Davy, sprog, and myself handed out felt so good/needed.
Of course my personal fave moment was scoring my (ready for this?) my SECOND bicycle kick thanks to a pinpoint cross from the sprogster. Now only 300 more games and I’ll have the diving headers one too!

There we were, 3 Ringers lined up ready for battle, Wavy, Gibson, and me in any *gulp* This was our for 8th unbeaten game (though there was a draw in there somewhere).
The whistle blew for kick-off!
*groan*
They’d bagged one and the clock had only just ticked past the 3 minute mark…
But The Ringers don’t give up so we brushed ourselves off ready to get stuck in again.

They bagged another 2 and I’m pretty sure the clock had only just ticked on past 25 minutes.
3-0? Pah! We laugh at 3-0. Ha, err?
They then scored ANOTHER! Rumours were starting in the crowd that maybe I’d taken a bung?
4-0 down and we hadn’t even got in for the half time oranges yet that we sent Lammie out to get! The other team were toying with us now taking 40 yard Hollywood shots at our pathetic excuse for a keeper.
The heads were dropping but we plugged on. Time was ticking by but then! A sublime ball through the middle by Gibson cuts out 3 of their midfield into the feet of Wavy ‘Thunderboots’ Davy who powers it past the keeper from outside the box!
The halftime whistle blew and we walked off the field feeling somewhat dejected.Very possibly the team that came out in the second half weren’t the same team as the players that reappeared were vintage Ringers. Why do I say that? Because as the 50 minute marker passed, in the words of Marxius Arrillious (or however you spell it?) we unleashed Hell!
Bam! Another flyer from Wavy 4-2.
2 minutes more pass. BAM! I get involved in the action an grab one for the team.
BAM, BAM! Gibson with a brace! In the space of 10 minutes we’re now now leading by one!
And the good times kept on coming. Another goal for Wavy only a few more minutes later. And another for Gibson. And yes, even another for me with my two left feet! 4-0 was now 4-8! Would you adam and eve it!
We took our feet of the gas at this point feeling almost guilty for the battering we were handing out. They scored a 5th with 3 minutes to go but by that time the game was dead and burried.And altough it shows our best unbeaten as 6 now take a look at the results and there’s 9 without defeat. Come on your Ringers!
