After two months of blood, sweat, and tears, we finally get an all time best of 5400! More Ringers fan getting packed into the stadium so they can kick off once the F/T whistle goes.
In other news we’re pleased to see that Sprog finally tired of picking up his pay cheque each Friday from an ATM in the pacific and walked back onto the pitch in a Ringers shirt.

I think we’re all pretty much in agreement here, like Doc said the more rules the more of a pain it can be. I certainly agree with Maniac that for me the real enjoyment is when everyone’s on TS. I’ll not bother jumping on the game if people aren’t in TS because it loses so much. It’s why for the first time in forever I’ve actually been know to tell my xbox leave mates I can’t play FIFA just yet as I’m on Battlefield!
That one map on which they were kicking our ass…that’s the only thing I’m not sure about really. I mean fair play they did such a great job of pushing us back the choice then becomes spawn-die straight away, or don’t spawn till the tickets go down. I think on Rush or Conquest firing into uncap is still a no-no, more so on Conquest.
Glad you all pretty much agree with the RPG stuff. First chopper I shot down last night was well chuffed.
I’m with Maniac except it can’t be one rule for us and one rule for others.
Personally I can’t stand servers that restrict what you can play with. I think RPGs on infantry are fine as main weapon or not. I don’t actually try and use it as my main weapon though, that guy last night stressed at me over the kill but he forgot that I’d taken out 5 tanks and one chopper too! I’ve been on servers that stress at me sometimes for the RPG but to be honest why should I have to change quickly to my uzi to take out someone when they come into view whilst I’m lining up a tank? Tis madness!
I think you guys discussed last night about limiting classes?! I really hope we don’t go down that route either. if a team loses becauses they’ve all gone snipers then they lose because they’ve all gone snipers. The choice is there so teams can form winning tactics, I think we should never look to reduce choice.
But attacking spawn base is one we are good to keep, that map last was spoilt by a whole load of uncap rapers.
One other thing, are we allowed into the other base to steal their tanks? Wasn’t sure.
For the first time in a long while BF is starting to peek my interest a little more than FIFA. It’s down to so many of you lot kicking about and being on TS. The last few days have been good for gaming seeing our server (cheers for getting it setup Matt) fill up fairly quickly and some quality games kick-off!
I was just wondering (Matt) if you could add something I see on other servers, where it shows ‘such and such has a kill streak of 5, death streak of xxx’ that kinda thing. Other people might be against this so I appreciate it’s up to debate?
Also, personally I do enjoy Conquest more than any other type but it might be fun to have some rush in there too? What do you guys think? I do miss my spotting but am learning to live with it, still no chance getting the ingame map on though? 🙂

I think you just walked in at the wrong time that day. We were all deep in the middle of a game or something.
I don’t think it’s too serious now though, we’ve always wanted to win and always got annoyed when we lose. True Wave doesn’t often say something which I guess is why it was a bit more unusual.
Shame you don’t like this one as much mate. FOr me it’s so much better not being able to blind pass it halfway across the the pitch and know it will hit the mark each time, you shouldn’t be able to to look one way and pass it another 20 yards the other way first time, spot-on, each time. I feel Fifa 12 will be even more like this one though.
Well you know where we’re at if you ever want a game mate. Yeah I thought Dale might sign up with their team but they’ve not played a game yet so I can’t see the squads. Will be good to have some friends teams to play get the ol’ blood flowing!

It would appear Hornet has fucked off The Ringers to form a new club with his work mates. No idea why as I only found out when i saw he’d left the club. Can’t wait to play them on the field 🙂
