I’m still on this quite often at the moment Doc. I do miss not having some squad members with me that don’t leave me in no mans land.
Sry only just saw this. Yeah made a real nice change to be running about with an xdcer. Cheers for the countless revives. From what I remember we did good work taking out a few tanks!

Firstly, thank you for your patience and feedback while we have been investigating the issues you’ve raised since the launch of the game. Your feedback has, as always, been invaluable.
As an update for you, we wanted to let you know that we are actively working on fixes for the following:
– Various crashes reported through our automated systems;
– Micro-pausing in offline and online matches;
– OTP Club issues related to searching, lag during peak and stat reporting;
– Gameplay fixes around positioning and advantage rule;
– Career Mode fixes around stat display and growth;
– Online exploits, Pro Passing in ranked matches, and cheaters punishment;
– Custom Chants issues.We will update you as soon as we can on progress there. We’re working around the clock to make sure we can address them all, either directly on our game servers or via a game patch – and that’s something we’re aiming to deliver as soon as we possibly can.

– Deploying new online code to our TEST servers, that should perform better at peak and allow easier match-making, esp. in Clubs; once we’re happy with it, we will deploy to PROD;
– Fixing more online exploits (World/Classic XI);
– Addressing Cup Draw issue in Career Mode;
– Compiling and testing the code for already-fixed issues;

Lag – OK so this is what you all want to know about. I played 9 games last night with between 1 and 4 other teammates in our Club (during peak time). I got lag for the first game in a 2vs2. I then played the rest of the games with no dashboarding or anything and was fine throughout. Later in the evening Wave lost connection a few times (we had 4 on our team and had lag come and go in those games) Could be the game could be his uni connection. However, Dan also played through some games with us when we had 5 and 4 on and got lag in some of them. Yiddo was alright for the games he played.Oh, personal fave moments of the night. Shed banging in a goal on his debut (then a goal in each of the next few matches). That first game lag causing me to pass to my goalie…who stopped…then turned around after 2 seconds and tapped it into the net. Yid with a rocket shot on his first game and me upping it with a delightful finesse shot from outside the box with the outside of the boot! And the legend Wavy banging them in from anywhere. Chicarito with the golden crosses and some delightful net busters….I’ll leave it there.
Conclusion – Huge improvement. The lag? I’m not sure about, I think some were the game and some were poor connections. If anyone’s on tonight would be good to see? Shame on the results front not counting mind as we racked up a 7 wins on the bounce. I think the main thing is that it was actually FUN last night, more than 2 in a game and some much needed humour again for our FIFA party which has so far been blighted by EA’s awful release.
For the record FIFA is MUCH better that #10. They just need to get the bugs fixed. Will be on tonight if anyone’s on? We’ve Shedlin and Wave back in the team, the goals were flowing like wine!!

Another update sent out last night on the server side. Forum seems to indicate a general improvement to lag matches though most are holding judgement till peak hours 6-11. Haven’t seen too much feedback on 3+ ppl on a team playing. As it’s been the last week we’ve been alright for a few games with just 2 (obviously still getting lag every few games though).
Well another evening of beta testing then on behalf of EA 👿

Lots of complaints with lag, switching playing not workinig, invisible players (!?!) and (my personal fave) ending up on the other team!!?
I’m out of that. Doesn’t sound very xdc to me. Where’s the satisfaction from getting them then? Didn’t we used to kick people for statpading back when playing BF? If you want to improve your BAP play the game, go through the career, and play other people online. You’ll learn the in’s and out’s of it much better and enjoy it more for the effort.
