ParticipantCool, I liked the first one and to be fair to the director it must be really hard to make a film when your budget gets taken right in the middle of filming because of a big greedy royalties argument between studios so the film was apparently shortened and the ending re-written from the planned big budget one.

Anyone with memory errors / regular crashes (Ryzo/Neon) should run memtest32 for at least one pass just to rule out bad ram.

ParticipantNah, wouldn’t go near it either. Not enough keys for RTS and too limiting for FPS I think. Just another gimmink for the “Hardcore PC Gamer” bandwagon by the looks.
“Instantly switch between 3 modes for First Person Shooter, Strategy and Role-Playing games”
(OMFG, Quick I need to play something else!!! ) …nope never found myself in that situation. If I do nothing to my keyboard it’s ready to play another game “instantly”.
Backlit ergonomic keypad with laser-etched keys for total visibility in any lighting environment
(Logitech G15 ftw!!!)
“4-way analog hat switch”
as opposed to the 8 that come with any reasonable joystick.
“21 buttons including space, shift function and 3 mode states for up to 144 programmable commands”
(Logitech G15 ftw !!!1)
“Adjustable thumb control area with 2 way tilt mechanism, slides forwards and backwards “
😯

ParticipantHad one Gigabyte board which failed and was replaced with anther one that also failed…just took a bit longer to do so than the first…ASUS ftw!!!

ParticipantIntel C2D E6750 and E6850 puppies run at 1333 FSB clock on ! 4Ghz attainable with a bit of water cooling luvin and 3.7 on air is poss too. No point in wasting money on Quad core just yet, especially not for games.)
8800 GTX OC/OC2 (BFG if you can for lifetime warranty)
Decent quality 2GB RAM PC8000+ (to handle 1333 FSB and clocking of C2D)
ASUS Commando or a nice Striker extreme motherboard its got lights !!! (needs BIOS update to support 1333mhz FSB)
Seagate Bararcuda 7200.10 (perpendicular storage ftw!!!)Strictly speaking the FSB1333 isn’t madly important for most things, it’s come about to handle the higher bus demands with quad cores but if you went for this sort of setup you could Quad core it up later when games use them properly, for stoopid physics etc (and they should be cheaper) . When they do that it could be a pretty tidy boost to your system without touching anything else.
just my $0.02 🙂
