Yeah, any clues to identifying who a beacon belongs to gratefully received lol.
If the policy is going to be to discourage camping enemy beacons because of its similarity to regular spawn-camping, then there should be a server motd to that effect. No problemo.

From the enemy’s perspective, most of the time they want to destroy it – but only for their own tactical reasons. There’s no obligation to respect a beacon or to destroy it. Multifuck the luckless squad until they wake up and spawn somewhere sensible. Thrice multifuck them, I say.
Remember, rape is when there’s no choice in the matter.
I don’t think it’s possible to be lame about camping mobile spawns.
They choose to spawn there, they take the risk. They can’t complain!

I feel like I should mention I’m paying £8/pcm in case y’all think I’m quiet on this thread through shame and stinginess!
There wasn’t an elegant way to bring it up because, foolishly, I put “fenix server” as the payment reference which appears on Pharty’s bank statement and he didn’t have to make a public appeal to find out where the money came from. I’m such an idiot.

Yes, I’m glad it happens to others because it means I don’t have to wait so long for a space to open up. Hooray for EA!
For any class you play, you do want the NetBatHat unlocked. If the hat comes after a crap unlock I don’t want, i wait until I have 2 unlocks and then do them both together… It just feels better that way :oops:.
The things I’ve aimed for are, in no particular order (ie I can’t remember the order) : –
Recon: APM’s, RDX, Active Camo, HatBatNetWhat, Lambert Carbine.
Arsault: Reviver, Medikit upgrade, NetWhatBatHat, Smoke nade, Voss (called the “Voss” because that’s as much of “Was ist das?” as you’ll be able to think before you die).
EasyMode(TM): Turret, WhatBatNetHat, EMP nade, Ammo Crate upgrade. I have the People Detector but it never seems to work for me after the first time I used it. Don’t get it at all… Maybe it only detects hetero enemies.
During a map, I’ll chop and change my kit (on the rare occasion I die…) to deal with the next exigency.
I get my tee-shirts @ 3 for £10. Every year or so I have to buy more because my cat has makes holes in them and the colours fade. I keep a good supply of white ones – don’t last long because people rip them in training.
My T’s don’t have anything on them, but the implicit message is I don’t give a fuck :twisted:. You’ve either got the pheromones or you haven’t, laddo 8).

I am gutted about the mp of Flat Out. It does 8 on a LAN and some guys wrote a couple of internet gaming tools for it (not available anymore – I’ve emailed them about that!). One of them wrote a 16 player online mod for it.
But… I had no idea it was an old game lol. Flat Out 2 is out and looks amazing. Might have to get it if it will run on my machine and has proper net play built-in.

It may be sacrilege to mention it but I just bought Flat Out on eBay for £5 new. The demo is absatotafuckinglutely gorgeous and hilarious. Two minutes playing the demo convinced me.
I’ll hang fire on toca 3 despite it being the best game that I can efectively control with the keyboard.
