Anyone tried using a normal webcam with Cam2Pan in games? It can be arranged to control left-right head rotation ingame.
I’ve read a lot of fantastic reviews and rave reports about using it.
Now I’m thinking how cool that would be with TrackIR…

No story today but just went on a mission and there was an actual rainbow! Is a rainbow gheyer than a story? 😕
In other weather news, the 6thSense server now has the option of sandstorms. The effect is pretty cool and sounds great. Thunderstorms with lightning are super-duper. With this game you can just chill and watch the sun go down lol.
I remember one mission that got fubarred by the sun going down early… We’d crawled on our bellies into range to attack a guardpost protecting a village. Game time was about 4pm, nice sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. Then over a period of a minute or two it went really dark as the sun set behind a mountain range ahead of us. Nobody could see a thing in in the dark, especially with daylight tinging the mountains’ outline which just made the dark darker. Rather than take the chopper home for nightvision kit or a different approach, we went for it and got fucked in a massive hail of tracer.

The secret of avoiding such hilaria is to watch your airspeed. Flare until it gets near zero, then come straight down.

@ Line, get on TS again. We haven’t heard you since the chaotic change-overs a few weeks back.
6thSense are having their weekly Wednesday Night gathering tonight if you guys sign-up and get verified (just say you’re with ‘=XDC= Fenix’*) in time. Verification requires an intro post in the welcome thread (linked on front page after u register). It’s speeded-up if you join the TS channel and talk to the likes of Sickboy, Syrk, Moon.. well the list is endless.
Had a go on Maginot Line coop last night. We started at 23h50 and I finally died at 01h25 after a tense time on point. I really want some quality PvP action like that.
