Actually this is what XDC is all about to me. You could vanish for years and then just pop back to see how everyone is knowing that you are still part of the group. As we always mention. Once you are in XDC you never leave (insert echo here)she got eaten by a bear. They had to fill the hole in with plaster and then get a child to paint the face back on
