Nope it’s the same as the boxed retail version and you will still need to download and install 1.01 patch before playing

yeah watched this video the other night, these guys do loads of video like this and also did the Stunt Mod for BF2
I voted for 2 servers. I forgot about RO although I personally don’t play it there is quite a large following in XDC that do so it makes sense.
It always gives us option later down the line when RO is no longer flavour of the month and can be replaced by another title that is equally as popular with XDC.
With regards to payments for the server I am willing to contribute just need an idea of costs and I will setup the necessary DD/Paypal Transfers
I agree with WET 2 Servers seems the way to go. The main reason being other that BF2/2142 there are some great multiplayer games coming out in the near future.

So my humble opinion is that we should have one ‘Core’ Server and another playing a variety of different games at diffent times depending on which is flavour of the month.
