Deaths butler is played by David Jason. The only trouble with this is that it says he plays a grumpy ELF!!!

Not alfred surely? he’s as far from a grumpy elf as can be, he’s a great magician (spoiler if you haven’t read the book with it in.)

Come to think of it, I don’t remember Alfred in Hogfather, but I also don’t remember him being replaced by anyone except the deat of rats (who is an AWESOME character!)

I’m sure this thread is bordering on paedophillia, the guy hasn’t got enough testosterone in him to grow hair on his chest!

When someones business intrests are at stake (I beleive he has lost clients due to the hacking via VWar) I think it only sensible to avoid these sort of plug ins until he can be sure of the security, Kind of like you saying “well you’re going to die at some point anyway, so you might as well carry on smoking drinking and driving at ludicrously high speeds”

The thing I never understood about the Omen was that if you were the devil (and very, very powerful) why would you have your son born a mortal human, when you could have made him a super-intelligent gorilla, with laser eyes and bullet proof skin? Who can fly.

I know it was a jokey type thingbut as the Son of God was mortal and the devil is less powerful than God, then it makes perfect sense.

from what I uncerstand the hacking of our site also led to the taking down of some of our great site providers commercial sites as well, hence the new security drive!

Yes, but I don’t see any of the long distance shots hitting and as you can’t see the guns, they may well be firing “across the bows” so to speak. Some of it may be slightly dodgy, but I think the situation out there is beyond any you can imagine, driving along a road knowing that it could well be that any of the cars want you dead in a major way would probably make you a bit trigger happy, if at least to warn people off.

One of my mates hates cheese, he can’t even eat pizza or anything with cheese in. What he didn’t know was that we were sneking in cheese to stuff we were cooking him, even if it wasn’t supposed to be there and a competition sprung up to see how much cheese we could get in without him noticing, he didn’t notice at all and we gave up and came clean after putting 1/2 lb into mash. He was none too chuffed, but said it would have been impolite to ssay when he didn’t like the food we were cooking him!

think it will be well done sa it’s a British film and the passion surrounding that film is such that I don’t think it will get Hollywodised, Sir David Frost and Peter Jackson know that the British public would be harder to please than the general “global” market, and it is here that the film will do well. Look forward to it.

As a side note, one of my friends recently filmed on that Lancaster with the BBC, managed to blag the trip due to that segment being “his idea”. Git, he’s never showed any interest in planes and stuff and he phoned me up whilst he was under it (he’s in a wheel chair, so I guess the military never really floated his boat as a kid)
