Dambusters remake

think it will be well done sa it’s a British film and the passion surrounding that film is such that I don’t think it will get Hollywodised, Sir David Frost and Peter Jackson know that the British public would be harder to please than the general “global” market, and it is here that the film will do well. Look forward to it.

As a side note, one of my friends recently filmed on that Lancaster with the BBC, managed to blag the trip due to that segment being “his idea”. Git, he’s never showed any interest in planes and stuff and he phoned me up whilst he was under it (he’s in a wheel chair, so I guess the military never really floated his boat as a kid)

They’re gonna be remaking Zulu too. Although Michael Caine’s role is being played by Will Smith and Chris Rock plays and American GI sent to show the British how to fight.

Oh and they’re not fighting the Zulus, they fighting the KKK.

well it is peter jackson and he likes to remake it perfectly only 10 times longer…
Loved the show on Discovery where they had a team of modern day fighter pilots who were not able to do the same feat. Shows how much they have come to depend on all their computers and trinkets to do the trick
