AH = Auction house. There will be real money AH’s soon. Only heard good things about the game but most people have issues with actually being able to play it when they want too. It seems odd that you can’t play it single player without going online, but that’s the DRM they chose!
it was 7 hours if you read the article, the 12 hours was unique because it was in the first speedrun reported in the first 24 hours of the game being released, and people have done it in 5 hours. It would help if you read the posts and links before commenting, because you just look like a knob when you come out with this stuff when you clearly haven’t read the articles, or even my posts.
shit’s a bit strong, how long did it take you to complete the first difficulty? I know about the different difficulty levels, I even mentioned it in my post! Despite your self professed 1337ness, I still think he’s probably a better player than you, and certainly a long way from shit. But hey, if you are not impressed by others achievements then there is no need to disparage them for doing something quicker than you.

Nope but reading a book quickly isn’t a desired skill, beating a challenge set by someone else is a desired skill, they do it becuase it’s there, if you complete it in 7 hours you can always go back and do it on the more difficult settings, where the monsters are harder and drop better stuff, so the normal setting is pretty much just for levelling up a getting to grip with the game, the more serious players will replay it on the harder settings for the challenge.
Personally I attempted portal 2 as quickly as I could (or rather I wanted to do it quicker than Doc!), it’s a test of quick problem solving and dexterity. Comparing passive media to interactive media is a fools game, but if I was to do a comparison it would be akin to watching the film of the book rather than reading the book.
pretty hard regarding graphics cards and mini ITX case, my housemate has a mini atx case and the best graphics card he could get was shit, I would avoid trying because you would end up spending a load on a graphics card
