tried this online last night, what a pile of crap! first off I have NEVER seen a less intuitive game, spawning as a seagull, I had to be talked through how to actually spawn by Dazzer (I think) and then sometimes it will respawn you normally, other times it will respawn you as a seagull and you have to disconnect and reconnect to play again.
WAs respawned in the middle of a river at one point, without a gun, had to run half a mile to get a gun, and got shot whilst I was picking one up. No offence, but I have never seen a game more in need of a massive amount of work on it’s interface, the only advantage/change over OpFlash is the browser for online play.
Might purchase this tomorrow (the day I get internet at my house! Yay!)

oh, then you’ll have to either go through the excel document changing the x10 super etc to ^ to get excel to work or go through the cut and pasted Word document and chnge the ^ to x 10 superscript. Cant do it any other way (you could make an auto correct to change ^ to x 10 superscript, but I’m not sure you can even do that!)
try shift +6 (^) between the number you want to raise the power to and the power, eg 2.5 * 10^8.

Not exactly, but because of him technology advanced leaps and bounds… not only the stuff his engineers created, but the stuff other engineers created to defeat him. it’s those engineers which were not afriad or ignorant or stupid enough to stick to what they know and try things they didn’t – they experimented and created the foundations of technology as it exists today. If you were going very fast through or past traffic, they wouldn’t be able to hear the sound! Only slow moving traffic pushes its noise ahead of it!.

I think the eejit’s point is that the more illegally you behave, the more heightened your senses are and so sharper responses etc, et al, ad nauseum. And it’s total nonsense.

I have to say that motorcyclists are normally ok, most have the ability to pre empt alot of stuff motorists don’t, but that’s all down to the amount of vision they have and the finer control they have over their bikes. I have met a motorcyclist who tried to bully me into dangerously cutting someone up whilst I was overtaking on a dual carriageway once because he wanted to travel faster than me (I was doing a shade over 70 at the time). Thing was I saw him in plenty of time but couldn’t pull over to let him pass because there was a string of traffic on my left and not enough room. I would have speeded up had he not decided to ride within three foot of my bumper and signal for me to pull over and swear at me (at which point I decided that I wasn’t going to speed to let him get past. Thing is he probably thought I was a twat, and I can imagine him having a chat with Legit saying “these fucking motosrists don’t understand that we have more right to the road than they do because we are better than them”
Fact of the matter is that with comments like Legits I really don’t feel like making the room I normally do for motorcyclists to let them through, I feel that I should live up to his pessimistic view that because I have seen some twats on motorcycles I should now, in fact, speed up so that I can avoid hitting them, and I should not check my mirrors before pulling out on the reasoning that until I hit a motorcyclist, thats the safest way to drive, hell I should just speed through populated areas where there is a high chance of hitting a child because I haven’t hit one yet, so it must be safer.
Oh hang on a minute, that would make me a twat and a shit driver. I can also realise that whilst the majority of motorcyclists out there are law abiding and competent, there are always going to be knobs like Legit who demand the road to themselves. Personally I don’t want to have an accident of any sort, and I take great pains not to speed, except when overtaking foreign lorries on the motorway because they have a massive blind spot on their right hand side and I have known two people who have been in accidents due to it.
On the way home today infact some retarded kid was going about 10mph on a main road on his pedal bike. You know what the dipshit did? He had cars coming behind him at 30mph, then without looking behind him (and about 10 metres away from a fucking crossing) pulls across to cross the road to go under my front wheel. I was doing 30mph But because I had awareness and control I could avoid him without giving the little asshat the mowing down he so surely deserves. He is isntantly more dangerous @ 10mph because he lacks awareness than I am at 100mph… don’t even attempt to deny it!!
And if you’d have been going faster, you would probably not had the time to avoid him, and you would probably had killed him had you hit him.

No .. you have half the time to cover the same distance or double the distance over the same period of time, whatever, but someone’s acual reaction will always take the same amount of time. It takes 2 seconds to react on average and it usually always will. And yes – it is like I’m arguing with amoebas
At the end of the day none of you have ever done it so none of you are qualified to accurately comment until lyou do. Don’t stay on your moral high ground with the bs that it’s dangerous as if you actually did do it you would see it’s not really that dangerous at all, providing you do things within reason. You do not have to pactually stop to avoid a collision, you can justa s easily slow down or change direction…
Velocity (V) = Distance (s)/ Time (t) The units are m/s
As Velocity is a vector, we will refer to it as speed as we are only interested in a straight line velocity.
From this simple formula you can see that the higher the velocity, the greater the distance covered per time unit must be. So at say 30 m/s in two seconds (your reaction time) you will cover 60 m. At 60 m/s you will cover 120 m. But that’s not the whole story as you know.
What are you doing when hitting the brakes? dissipating Kinetic Energy to heat as a rule via friction. Look at the KE in a 100 kg rider and bike combo at 30 and 60:
KE = 0.5mv^2
KE @ 30 = 45000 Joules
KE @ 60 = 180000 Joules
That is double the speed, quadruple the energy.
That is FOUR times as much energy to dissipate. And what else happes with brake pads? The hotter they are the less efficient they are at transferring Kinetic Energy to Heat Energy (Thermal Energy) so as they dissipate your speed they get less efficient at dissipating it. Oh! Double Whammy.
Basically, it matters not what you say, the fact is that at twice the speed you are going to cover twice the distance per second and carry FOUR times the Energy, just because you haven’t hit anyone yet doesn’t mean to say you won’t, you’ve already admitted that you will continue to make mistakes.
And contrary to what you beleive, a simple modelling using Newtons Laws of Motion is enough for people to realise that it is much more dangerous at these speeds than you would lead us to beleive, but most people don’t need it actually argued scientifically, they can work it out with common sense, something you are apparently lacking.
