Hard drives also make a nice difference – I hunted downan IBM Ultrastar 36Z15 for my last gaming rig; it wasn’t cheap, it’s SCSi and it was damned noisy but it did also WTFPWN… but considering it’s the fastest performing hard drive in the world (apart from RAM disks or these solid state disks which cost £10k each obviously…) you really can tell the difference. RAM is nice, but you also need speed to chuck things at good time into it. That means Nioce RPM, cache and seek times – it’s no good having an assload of RAM and a 5400rpm drive because you may not really notice the difference.
Mmm does anyo of the stuff you have in your home that says ‘Made in China’ not have an english menu?
Hehe it probably will be in english and if not they are quite often multilingual, so you’ll just have to find the menu to change it to english if it is not in english already. Failing that, could always just learn enough chinese to browse the menu’s, save a couple of quid and claim to be cultured 😛

I’ve been having some problems myself on Warcraft – mostly because ntl: have totally fucked up my connection since this merger with Virgin to create Virgin media. I randomly get really shitty pings then disconnect – I’m dropping packets to the DNS servers but Virgin have been useless at fixing it and they’re blaming my PC, which is fine.. yet oddly several thousand people have the same problem… and I keep telling them their DHCP server goes offline and their DNS likes to disappear but it’s falling on deaf ears. Warcraft PvP is unplayable and I’ve actaully been accused of cheating on Warsong Gulch because I would run, someone would try to kill me, I’d lag out still running then the game will catch back up and I’ve escaped harm lol… Anyhow, I’ve had to temporarily suspend my WoW subscription untill I get a stable connection in god knows how long.. I rolled a Draenei Shaman recently too.. wanted some fun 🙁
Anyhow you can’t really play WoW too much.. it’s hard to play it enough???

Nice to see they’re back on their feet after Dice/EA bought trauma then shut them down.
I can’t imagine the game being much different from Desert Combat/Battlefield 2 though which has to make you wonder what’s the point?… the guys seems to be sticking to what they know best instead of trying something new… oh well =/

haha yes but I also paid extra to get a charger to plug into the mains which charged it via usb… via a mains socket 🙂

I bought an iPod nano last year … it still hasn’t arrived =/
I did have the iPod shuffle before that – kinda shit that the tracks were random when I’m used to playlists, but on the other hand it did fit a few songs on it and it was small and light – and turned up.

With your current track record I’d say make sure this camera doesn’t get stolen this time – not just because of the expense and embarassing nudie footage… but because without it you can’t do shit 😛

I spend money on turkeys all the time 😛 Well.. not al lthe time, but if I want to try before I buy I try the demo… if I like the demo I buy… but I don’t dl the game then not buy it because it was crap, I’ve bought plenty of turkeys and I will end up buying more too =/

They were too slow to react to statpadders and cheaters and they still haven’t fixed that was wrong with the game vanilla so how they can dare do a booster pack without even finishing off it’s base is beyond me.
On top of that – I bought all expensions and booster packs for every previous Battlefield game – the only one I ever truly loved was road to rome, the rest were average at best and only got played for a few nights for people to try then forget them. In the long run these boosters always will be a waste of money because seriously who the fuck can actually forsee this ever being on the server long-term whether people bought it or not? It’s one of those things that just isn’t going to have enough life in it to warrant paying for it – if anything it should be given free not as a patch but as an ‘I’m sorry for selling you a broken game’ dealio -_-
