When you’ve been in a certain mindset for ages you tend to go mad with TLA’s 😀I don’t play source that much these days because of my newly acquired infatuation with bf2142.. but when I do I tend to stick to the Crazy servers 🙂
The atmosphere is similar to this forum really.. it’s a social clan first and foremost so people are generally relaxed and friendly

Use of weapons is his best book to be honest.. the ending rocked
Although I did like “the player of games” aswell. A game that immersive must be gamer heaven really.. and the whole threeway gender thing was pretty creative aswell.Funny story.. I read use of weapons (in danish) some 14 years ago and loved it! Was my first “real” scifi read.
I liked the character so much that when I started dabbling with html just before I went into IT, I registered the domain http://www.cheradenine.com to use as a playground and I still have it to this day 😀
Just finished “state of the art” a couple of weeks ago but it’s not as fetching as his other works that I’ve read.
The newest version of nuke isn’t that bad really.. I’ve had two hacking attempts that buggered the site in three years so it’s not that bad ^^

I’ve played around a little with the phpbb3 candidates and I must say it’s fabulous 😀
Especially the admin section looks veery nice compared to the phpbb2 one and the code behind the curtains is even better laid out than in the old one.
I’m wishing for someone to integrate it with PHPNuke before long tho.. It’s one of the best forums out there but fiddly to get working with portals (apart from phpnuke).
Perfect setup would have to be e107 w. phpbb but the existing integration scripts are shite >.<
Just tried ET:QW and I must say I’m gutted.. I thought that game was gonna be the bee’s knees but it’s just a polished ET clone >.< Feels like a f’ing war episode of Blue Peter compared to the BF games..

I’m part of the management of a fairly old and established CSS clan called Crazy Clan and I’ve been active in CS more or less since it was in beta.
I’ve made/set up http://www.crazyclan.net for Crazy and although we do all kinds of games, CSS has main focus and I kinda feel like I need a break from it.. and the BF series has been a godsend really ^^
I’ve loved the BF games ever since BF1942 came out (still the best one of the lot tbh!!) and finding a great clanserver for the newest incarnation of Battlefield has been a welcome surprize ^^
PS. For those of you that are wondering about my avatar, I’m from the Faroe Islands, a tiny speck of paradise situated up north close to Iceland and the Shetlands off the coast of Scotland 🙂
