    Does anyone have any ideas what we’ll be sticking on the 2142 server next? Much as I love/loathe that game when it’s working I’m just wondering what we’ll be playing next, and if anyone has any idea what sort of timeline we’ll be looking at.

    Quake Wars: ET is out at the end of September and COD:4 is supposed to be out at the end of the year.

    One of the reasons I ask is because 2142 has decided not to work for me again (won’t load maps anymore) and although I could do a complete rebuild of my PC again, the last time that happened was in June and if we’re going to play another game sometime soon I’ll probably just hang on for that.

    I’m also playing Rome Total War, so I’m not in a major hurry.

    Not too sure mate.. depends who buys either.. I had COD4 on order, but decided to cancel just incase no one else got it.. dont wanna go down that Arma path again!
    Will do the demo and if anygood .. will buy it

    Cant be any worse though.. or can it :/

    id imagine the setup would stay as it is till the next battlefield is out? Unless theres like a one of day or something where quake wars is chucked in, but i cnt see it being as popular as battlefield, and yes – was going to mention the ArmA thing, bought it, and nearly sent me into a coma playing it, reemed hard

    Sure, probably is, but cant see getting bored of battlefield, no doubt theyll be another booster at some point too

    Heh, well I am not sure which of those two will be the better, i like the look of them a lot, however I played the Quake Wars beta and didnt like it much, may be due to my pc not being the best. COD does look very good though.

    I still mainly play BF1942 though as its still the best BF game out there lol

    never was a big fan of the COD MOH style gameplay after getting into BF its hard to go back to it. So for that reason only Quake is more BF orientated. But I’m not fussed. I just want Battlefield 1942 redux 😉

    Well I dunno, unless it gets slated I’ll be getting CoD4 but Quake Wars got a right kicking for it’s beta by people who played it so I’ll be staying clear of that.
