😉 Steer clear of UK Online – I’ve been fighting on behalf of my mother-in-law since mid-December. I’ll bore you with the details later, but suffice it to say their connection service is rubbish.
Ordered in December. Order got “lost”. Reordered early Jan. Connection four weeks later. Didn’t work – crap tech support with crap answers. Finally got it working on Thursday this week, 7-8 weeks after first ordering…..
Interesting. I’ve got a 1Mb ADSL link and get this:
The up/download are pretty good for the line, but latency is poor and certainly not consistent with what I see when playing games (typically 30-40ms). I noticed that the latency gauge says “beta” on it, so I wonder if this is just under test and not very accurate.

Upload low? Can’t remember if 2mb lines should have a 512kb upload or not.Latency (ping) much higher that I would expect.
Worth running a few times over the day and seeing what variation you get.

I think it was blorked for a little while earlier – I had the admin prog connected in teh background, and it went tits up for a while.
