Right….last night i was the commander while playing Minsk, and shortly after i killed ‘OldPhart’ i got kicked from the server without warning and havent been able to get on since! 😯
I will admit that i killed ‘OldPhart’ while he sat in an uncapable base with an Orbital Strike, but our side held all the capable bases, so i thought he was fair game! 🙄
If i have broken any rules, i apologise.
I have been playing on your server now since December, and have enjoyed many a battle. I have even been praised by a clan member for working well within his squad….so pleeeease, forgive me and let me in!
As I understand it OP was so shocked at what happened he spilt his Horlicks all over himself and nearly choked on his Worthers Original.
The Horlicks landed on him and ruined his smashing bright red pants

So I think officially you are down as
wheels – banned for ruining a perfectly good pair of bright red pants
I think you’d have to say that it’s a fair cop fella.*

However, as a word of warning, the XDC server is very tightly controlled by some hawkeyed admins. We use TS as well, so if somebody is taking the pi$$ then they will be booted, and quickly at that. The rules on the 2142 server say that there shall be no raping or attacking the uncaps. That includes artillery strikes.
sometimes the ban button gets hit a little too often 😳
perhaps it was supposed to be a warning kick that went wrong 😉
You will have to ask one of the admin boys to reinstate and as you have been so polite n all that poops I dont see any problem in sorting it out ASAP although you may owe Pharty a new pair of trousers 😉OK, mate, I’ve taken the liberty of unbanning you since Pharty has a proper job and may not be able to do this during the day. I’m hoping to not piss off whoever it was that did ban you.
Now don’t be a naughty boy again, or Turks will send you some of his toe-cheese. Beleive me, if you’ve seen photos of his feet, that is a sickening threat indeed…. 🙂
….but its worth pointing out that its not very often anyone gets warned or kicked first. The reason is that then someone has to keep track of the offender to carry out the threat, and that just kills the game for the admin.
So, if someone does a ban, it’s just done there and then. It’s not like we’re short of players.
The other day I banned a guy [DCG] TankJohnson as he and his buddy were just shooting each other’s vehicles and repairing them to stat pad. I said don’t do it. They carried on. Ban. No threats by me.
I think most admins are the same. It’s nothing personal – just trying to keep a good game going without wasting time being a detective 🙂
the day you threaten to ban all your own team (and i would have) is the day you achieve admin greatness 🙄
