Just been playing Rush (conquest is still by far the best 🙂 ) on 7DR’s.
How long do those games last ! I got bored, plus had to be up early, so ended up leaving before the game ended!
Just a damn shame about auto balance (or lack of)
rush is a great game mode, especially if the teams are well balanced. if not its crap as one side just flattens the other in a matter of minutes.
lack of auto balance is a real problem but so long as admins are on its not too bad.
P.S whats the Hussars server called? i found one called Hussars gerbil something or other but wasnt sure if that was the right one

Participantno the more expensive keyboards (especially the gaming ones) have more sensitive buttons, shorter distance to travel for it to register. macro buttons were in all honesty designed for MMO players where you bind a button to perform a series of actions.
i have an old keysonic keyboard nothing very fancy but its the one of the best keyboards i have ever used/tried. almost laptop like keys. thats why i suggest heading to pc world to try some out. i usually try out the new keyboards when i am at the Iseries events. the only one that i have liked has been the roccat one but its damn expensive. they have however just released a new one that doesnt have hundreds of macro keys and is as a result cheaper. dont know what its like to use though.
here is the new one for £45

ParticipantI would suggest that you head down to pc world the next time you can and try all the keyboards they have on display. find one you like then go online and buy it 🙂

Cant believe they pinched the idea off Frontlines, mind you, they pretty much cloned the BF franchise 😉
Oh and a Preview here –

Note the above is based on 360, other formats may vary in terms of gameplay 🙂
the guys behind frontlines were the guys that did a lot of work on BF2, so its not surprising there are similarities

Cant say I have mate, I could have but I didnt have it unlocked at the time, and that was a one off so doubt it would happen again 🙂
Still playing the game but it annoys the feck outa me still
i am at exactly that same point with the game, it irritates the shit outta me, but mainly its due to server issues. its becoming harder and harder to connect to a decent host and i end up getting pissed off with the laggy gameplay. if i ever meet anyone responsible for making this system for pc from IW i will probably end up spending time in prison. what a cock ridden, dumb fuck idea it was!!!

Participantwell WET, the new T.V plus console will be at least £500, and i suspect it would be more than that.
you dont even need to build the pc yourself, overclockers for example have pre-built systems for £500. although that doesnt include the monitor and other peripherals.

Participantthis is on PC btw.
its ok, its nothing special. the single player is ok for the second half, so about 3 hours is good the other 3 hours is a bit meh.
the MP is ok, its fun but i miss the hardcore versions of every game type. you only get hardcore deathmatch as an option which is a bit sucky.
the peer to peer server system is ok, sometimes you end up on a crap server due to someone hosting on a crap connection. then if they leave you have to wait 30 seconds while it sorts out a new server from the existing players which is really annoying as it almost always happens just as you are getting into it.
i havent played the co-op stuff yet but will hopefully be trying it this weekend.
so overall its ok. nothing special. over hyped and doesnt deliver the same experience as cod4 did. im not sorry i bought it as i will play it, its just that i could have been much better.
