Participanti have spent about 20 odd hours playing TF2 the last few weeks, its bloody awesome. the comedy of it all is great and it still remains a great game.

Other than not being able to plug a console in to the screen, or have a card reader, is there anything else different from the Dell? Or Less good – Im pretty close to snapping this up!

all the review i have read about it says that its a great monitor. as i said earlier i was going to buy this one but got bored waiting for it to be released so paid the £80 more for the dell and got it immediately. so if i want an impatient git i would have the samsung without a second thought.

Was just wondering… does anyone use their monitor for work? Just wondering what it would be like to swap over to widescreen… as I am used to … err… square screen.
And if I ever get back to playing games… will the graphics on my 9800 pro look shit because the screen is bigger?
I wish I had £3000 to spend instead!
going to widescreen is like moving from 56k dial up internet connection to broadband…. you will never want to go back.
using a widescreen monitor for database work is a godsend especially if you are working on multiple spreadsheets. the other great thing about widescreen is that you can rotate the monitor so that it displays in portrait which again is great if you are working on a single long spreadsheet.crazy hippo

CH – if you wouldn’t be happier with the Samsung, maybe youcould be equally happy, if not close? Especially as it’s a tad cheaper 8) I’d personally go for the Samsung myself, they have their shit together and always do top notch stuff whilst typically Dell are ok; their support Isn’t always as nice, fast and free as they make out.
yeah but i can plug my 360 and ps3 into my monitor as i cant use our TV or the missus will go nuts. she just about let me plug the Wii into our main tv. also the dell has a card reader on it which the samsung doesnt have, and seeing as i dont have a card reader on my pc it was another factor for me.

Participanti had the exact same question as you Turks about a month ago.
i initially ordered the samsung but while i was waiting for it to be released i changed my mind and went for the Dell. the main factor for me was the lack of inputs on the samsung.
i am extremely happy with the Dell and i doubt that i would be any happier with the samsungcrazy hippo
Participanta 35 year old mouse? damn you have done well. happy birthday fella 🙂

Participanti dont know anything about telescopes specifically but i do know a bit about tasco telescopic sights. they are not the best optics available but then again unless you are planning on making this a major hobby i guess it wont matter too much.

Participantmost of my pet hates are already mentioned, the only other one is a general lack of thought for other people.
