Yeah, I have the Alpha in steam, but only tinkered with the training missions and, visually, it looks great.
If it’s anythng like the other Arma games, it’ll be frikking hard to play.

I have mine OC to 4.1ghz….but never heard of 5ghz. You’re a genius!
You have seen the early reviews that say it isn’t likely to have any significant improvement over the 7970……right?
in fact I saw one overclockers thread that seemed to suggest it was a rebadged 7970.
I just pushed the button on the same card Max. Bit of a bigger jump from a 3yr old 5870, so hopefully might see a little bit of improvement across a range of games
I looked across a range of benchmarks with regards to the 7970 v 770 and it was very very even, each having a very very slight lead in different area, but to get a 770 card with more than 3Gb Vram, you are looking at well over a £100 extra and figured the 7970 was the best bang for buck card at the moment.
…………..that and i didn’t wanna spend all weekend scrubbing/reformatting my PC to get rid of the AMD drivers if I went down the 770 route.
I’ll not be buying it at/before launch, I’ll suck it and see as the “expansions” are released. I was pretty disppointed by the BF3 expansions, the only one I actually thought was any good and play regularly is the Epicentre/Talah Market one. All the rest were just dire.

With Him pre-ordering both the XBoxWANK & PS4, I get the feeling We’re not gonna Hear anything but drivel from him after He gets bored of BF4.

Yeah, fuck the DD version.
£54.99 for DD which, as far as I can see, give you 3 Battlepacks (?) instead of 1 & Unlocks for all ground vehicles.
Add to that the £40 for BF4 premium and it’s makes an eye-watering £95, unbelievable steep for BF3.5.
Even the normal digital download version on Origin is £45 quid, which just shows how blatenty EA want to dry-fuck Max and not even call him in the morning to say thanks.
The video looks all nice and spangley, but apart from the explosions and scenary looking a bit prettier…….it’s just BF3+, right?
Of course I’m gonna get it…….and probably fork out for a new Gfx card for the occasion, but It’s still not making me moist.
