Awesome Occa, we should have more on later today as well since it’s still quite early.
Also for everyone who’s a member, the double XP event is still running, so I’ll be on most of the day 🙂
Cracking night yesterday with xdc holding up a squad on TR two or three times our size for about 45 minutes in a fight around two bases. Eventually we seem to actually break their will to fight and push out to cap back lost territory and a few bases just in time to secure a draw for the alert. TR needed 51% territory control to win the alert, and the efforts of our five man xdc squad reduced them to 49% just in the nick of time :). Got some videos coming soon of the action, but well played everyone there at the time, and let’s do more of the same tonight!
Thanks, and more will be welcome from anyone else who can. The reddit mod has made a list of mentors for each server and faction, which will be a better system, although I think i can maybe suggest some improvements….anyway i am one of five VS on the list for cobalt, so we shall see what comes of it.
Oh and occa, before I forget to ask in game again, do you know about the heavy assault overshield ability? It’s just the kind of obvious thing to an experienced player, which can go unmentioned and may not be apparent to a new player. Anyway, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, learn to hit f when you’re taking or about to take damage, if playing as heavy, as you get a shield which gives the class a lot of its strength.
lol yea, and I’m sure Ben can provide his own information thread on kill stealing and xp whoring 😉
Even if you’re not involved with PS2, can you help upvote this? It could really help our XDC outfit, if we’re able to find a few decent guys this way.
Looking forward to it max 🙂 Just jump on TS when you’re free, and anyone else for that matter. You can normally see when we’re in game from steam, but if you message me on steam you may have to wait a minute or two before I can reply as things can get quite tense and be quite involved sometimes in game.
Lol line, and yes Ben, that is the same faxmaniac, however as I tried to tell you he doesn’t tk much or on purpose :). He gets tk’d a lot though!
For the record, before tonight’s one hour session I was at 1.10% and 12 tk’s….Paddy died to sundy debris, and the other two….I suppose they deserved it….does that pass as an excuse?
I’m tempted to just buy it to show EA that a sensible pricing structure = sales. I know they won’t take it that way though so probably won’t get it, plus I don’t know how I could fit bf in around ps2 atm.
