Glad you got it sorted wet, now just don’t get too good at flying and play against me!
From what people are saying here I think I will get this but so you know, it won’t be for a couple of weeks yet. I’ve moved into a place where the connection is being shared by a couple of guys who stream videos and abuse torrents like fuck which makes it virtually impossible to play a game really. I’ll be getting a second line in but that will take time sadly. Unfortunately I can’t even shut the wireless off anymore as now they just reset the router, not realising it’s me. Fucking students is all I can say.
hmm maybe i’ll get this after all if the performance has improved. How was your performance though during beta Beer?
I think I’ll wait and hear what the general verdict is on this game before I start thinking of premium. Looks like a good deal so i had a quick look around some review sites and it certainly seems like a legit site. Just be careful the code is valid for UK accounts and not locked to another region.
I dunno whether that incident beats this one Fluff. He’s just spent a fortune upgrading his PC on the back of a day or two of beta! 😯
hmm i think I do, and could do with a little cash. I’ll check and get back to you. To paraphrase max, “I’ll sell cheap” (but not quote a price yet) 🙂
Oh and if anyone does try this and can’t wait until others are about before jumping in, make sure that when you select a faction to also pick the server we’re playing on, as listed in the op. Unless you do that we can’t link up. As a guide maybe to what faction to choose, note that new conglomerate are hard hitters at close range with low rate of fire and inaccuracy as trade offs for the extra punch, vanu are the opposite, and are probably the best gateway to the game for a bf player (at least in my opinion). Terran are a half way house and totally playable for a bf player with recoil control already learned and this is what alex and I have been playing most of lately, although we both have mid level vanu characters as well and i’m certainly happy to continue along with that faction.
In summary, we play vanu on ceres, terran on woodman, and nc on miller.

Really?? 😯 The beta of BF4 looks and plays better imho, then any previous version plus commander mode is back – im suprised mate.
Unfortunately (and ironically) i’m allowing my experience of the beta to affect my priorities right now but i’ve also just moved into a house where those i’m sharing with are constantly streaming shit which is bearable in ps2 at times but would be intolerable for bf4. If the performance issues are sorted out in bf4, and I get a second line installed here for my own internet, then i’ll probably get it.
Once you have this installed beer, give me a shout on ts or steam and i’ll help guide you through the setup and show you roughly what’s going on. The game is simple but it can seem a little daunting at first

Since you’re getting such a low frame rate fluff you’re probably best testing through the console commands rather than with fraps. Fraps tends to knock 5 to 10 frames off your performance, and that’s on well optimised games, so potentially more with this beta.
Hmm that’s an odd fix. You mean a web browser? So load the game via battlelog, alt tab, and close all browsers?
