I’ll try driver cleaner in future, but I’m not exactly confident that third party programs will remove all the shit i need after i tried two highly recommended products already. I think it’s shocking that AMD/ATI make it so difficult to remove their drivers, though I do wonder whether it’s an anti virus mechanism? That could well be me being more than naive.
I got a GTX670 though, which will obviously help my DayZ frames 😉
I’m an idiot, but PS2 and BF3 will surely run like a dream once I get this, not to mention BF4 once it’s out.
lol yea I hated them as well for the same reason, they were seriously overpowered, especially in the hands of someone like Tooth 🙂
I’ve just watched that video, and immediately updated my current DayZ install. Going to jump on that server Messy got us access to and shoot some people in the face.
In the video I actually felt a shiver down my spine when I saw them walking through Cherno. We really must have had a blast with this before the hackers ruined it.

Oh amd sorry btw, I hadn’t noticed this was referred to in an earlier post on this forum.
Haven’t seen the video yet, but what I want to know is how well we’ll be protected from server wide hacks in future. They don’t need to resell other aspects of the game, just sort out the hacking.
Actually if you guys fancy some planetside action, the hussars are well setup on a us server which i’ve also got an account on. We were doing it all wrong during beta jim btw and now have the game figured out.
Surely the difference between a mechanical keyboard and a normal one is marginal at best, unless you use some crazy macros or something? I use a bog standard Microsoft standard piece of shit which cost a tenner I think, and it is fine for gaming. I even spilt a full can of beer over it during the holidays and i’m still pulling in a four to five k/d in ps2 regularly.
I would ask yourself the question what do you want from a keyboard before looking at crazily priced items which I personally think are gimmicky at best. I think the only reason to get such a keyboard is if you use macros for something…something i’ve yet to find a use for personally. The slight improvement you witness will only be worth it at the very top levels of competitive play imho. I admit i’m calling this from a position of no experience, but I’d be shocked if this was worthy the financial outlay at our level of ability and commitment.
Oh and for clarity i’d say anything over 25 quid is a crazy price for a keyboard.
