Anyome tried.lowering the players.required to start down to one? The patch notes suggest this will work ok now.

im on wifi and dont experience any issues.
Wifi is pretty hit and miss but from my own experience I avoid it for games as i’ve always found it prone dropping at the worst times. Certainly if you’re experiemcing lag i’d try a wired connection until you can narrow it down to something else. You could also run a trace route or use a wee program called winmrt to trace a route to something normally stable like google.com and see if you have any spikes in ping or excessive package loss….ajythung in the first hop is your router. Beyond that and the obvious old fart puns, from which part of the world are you trying to connect to the server from these days and, how good is your connection and do you have any pesky kids downloading from another computer in the house?
Oh and the problem changing to hc was unrelated to it being on normal early evening. This monday was a special case as we wanted a game of normal early on, hence my post to prompt someone to change it when the evening crowd got in.
Server’s currently full on normal mode, but when there’s enough of us online we can restart into hardcore.
Of course if noone wants to switch then can leave it as it is.

Same person and he’s been on his best behaviour since being unbanned. I’ve been trying to get hold of him on battlelog to talk about this.
They were supposed to have done something recently that would spawn you away from enemies on a flag, and I assumed that if you ended up on top of ppl at that flag, then it was because there were ppl near the other standard spawn locations. Over the weekend though I’ve noticed this not be the case, and at one point last night I witnessed someone spawn on almost the same patch of ground my squad mate was on.
