Im too old to learn new tricks by myself. I need a n00by fakky thingamajig that tells me the do’s, dont’s and explains stuffs like..
Why does “cuntface RPG OldPhart” appear on my screen about 3 seconds before I see the hits, take the damage znd die? Lagg?
whenever i see you on the server, it always looks like your running in slow motion..at first i thought it was lag at my end but everbody else runs around fine.

could be something you d/led from those dodgy animal pr0n sites you frequentI think it because I’m using wireless. I’ll hook up a cat6 next time and see how it goes. Good ghing I put 4.2km of cables in the new house. 16 patch ports per floor

Wifi is pretty hit and miss but from my own experience I avoid it for games as i’ve always found it prone dropping at the worst times. Certainly if you’re experiemcing lag i’d try a wired connection until you can narrow it down to something else. You could also run a trace route or use a wee program called winmrt to trace a route to something normally stable like google.com and see if you have any spikes in ping or excessive package loss….ajythung in the first hop is your router. Beyond that and the obvious old fart puns, from which part of the world are you trying to connect to the server from these days and, how good is your connection and do you have any pesky kids downloading from another computer in the house?
