If I didn’t enjoy bf3 so much i’d probably find the time to be outraged at the fact we’re paying for a map pack, but sadly this is what we do these days since the console generation accepted such things as dlc and xbox subscription charges…you bastards! /shakes fist
Anyway, xdc has some vocal types who I expect will make a stand against this corporate greed and this is going to lead to a dilemma because quite a lot of us are going to want the new maps included on the server rotation.
So as to preempt any problems, or at least see whether one might exist, can you speak up if you have no intention of getting the pack and whether you have an opinion on the maps being included on our standard rotation, when this will likely dump you out of the game…and probably direct you to an ea page asking would you like to buy it. The same question also applies to ppl who intend on getting it, but may have to wait until after christmas – do you mind it being on the server in the meantime?

Now if this was COD, I’d take a stance as I’ve never (to my knowledge) bought a map pack although cant be certain my Kinect didnt at some point,, but come on! This is BF3, Its a no brainer even though them corporate slags do shit like this 🙁
I also got the limited edition, however I’d not be against getting map packs, no real difference to BF2142 northern strike, or BFBC2 Vietnam etc. Except well, they are map packs instead of expansion packs, but meh…
im a fully fledged xbox/download biatch…….i just put my card in once…..and they take my money when i want to buy something
as opposed to me dicking about trying to figure out the da vinci code in order to crack it……lets face it, im having to enquire where the hdmi lead goes in order to link the pc to the telly !!
this should be a simple task…..i tried for 30 minutes the other night and failed !!
anything that makes it simpler,easier,quicker for me to consume………im the fat kid bustling everyone out of the way to be first in the dinner line !!!
for that reason i also purchased the pre order pack…..so i will be there trying to hit you with the medi pack when you have your gun out…..the rocket launcher out when your in the aa…..and the defib out trying to attach it to a tank cos i thought it was C4 !!
ON DAY ONE !!! AND I CAN’T WAIT !!! 🙂
Getting it free on ps3 and ill be paying for it on the pc. As long as i am still playing and enjoying the game i will buy every map pack that comes out.
