Well we are back to the same issue as before. As ben eloquently put it at length on his post there are at least as many xdcers who hate normal mode as there are who hate hardcore. There are plenty of people who only play on hardcore settings and tthere a fair number of hardcore servers that are often full out there. If we have to have one mode on for the server i would prefer we voted on it and stuck to the result. Fair enough?
Well i didnt know it wasnt showing up.. why would that be? If we have to change to a set of standard settings though then we should have a vote as to whether it is hardcore or normal. Fair enough?
3d spotting sucks for me personally. But anyway i thought the plan was to have the server on match settings to a) keep it consistent and b) make sure we are used to them in the event of us getting a match. Im sure goatie would love em on so he can kill everyone in his fing chopper but i vote no!

Some facts
1) Ben should of course be taken round the back and summarily executed for this sort of talk.
2) He is only posting tonight cause when he approached the other groups he mentioned…. they watched him play BF3 and told him he was too shite.
3) This thread comes up every year or two – sometimes it causes a small flash… sometimes it causes all out flame wars and deep schisms for bizarre reasons that no one can quite understand the day after. Beware! 😀
4) Is there any competitive scene for squad rush? It would by far be the easiest to set up / get regular players for if there was.Someone should tell max that switching weapons speeds you up in Counter strike – NOT BF3. 😆

I don’t think this is very legit – we don’t like people glitching in general so don’t see why this would be exempted.

You have a lot of faith in big corporate entities it seems.
If you look at kickstarter projects a lot of them are for indie films. You don’t need to know much about making movies to realise that it is incredibly expensive and that all the main studios are incredibly conservative.
I would much rather sink some cash into a young guys dream of making a movie if he has the spunk to organise enough people to support him / come up with a plan and then get momentum going amongst people who would like to see the kind of stuff that he might produce rather than send it to
to be wasted. As for games… you can’t really lose… the developer is saying… pay us up front so we can actually make the game…. you will get a copy for your $25 investment which is what it would cost anyway – so take a gamble. I think you will find that most of the people on kickstarter have actually sunk all of the money they have got and then some into whatever their dream is by the way – that is an outrageous statement you made there ben with no proof to back it up.
Believe it or not I thought I was doing you a favour as a m8 – you remember how I went on ebay while you were on TS to make sure that I charged you a lot less than the going rate? Ring any bells? If it wasn’t exactly 40 it was pretty damn close.
Just seems odd that you turned down a good deal, it seems now, because it cost too much… but are now thinking of spending hundreds of quid more for s similar thing but with much less rationale. Hence.. you are an idiot.
