Hmmm – sounds odd to say the least.
I would have suggested tramadol too – but take with 8 paracetamol daily and your anti inflammatories.
There is an anti inflammatory thats stronger than brufen called voltaren that I would probably try you on as well.
Ear infections are pretty sore…. but with all the moaning you are doing you are either a) a complete wuss… or b) have something decidedly strange going on in your ear.

Co codamol has 500mg paracetamol and 8mg codeine in it… enough codeine to cause the side effect of constipation…… but no different from plain paracetamol for pain relief according to the latest studies 🙂 Got to love doctors who dont keep up to date with the latest pharmacology advances 🙂
Take some neurofen along with the paracetamol m8 – that should do the trick (assuming you have no contraindications to neurofen.. always read the label.)

Hmmmm – something fishy here me thinks! You dont pay for sick notes… Munkee. Where the hell did you go?
Only thing I can think of is… If you have been off for 3 days or less there is absolutely no statuatory obligation for you to need a sick note from your doctor. Your employer is required by law to accept your abscence without a doctors note. Some GP’s try and enforce this rigorously to avoid lots of bullshit waste of space appointments with people wanting notes for work/school who shouldnt be wasting GP times for minor self limiting illnesses.

Much as it pains me to do so, I must agree that our resident snow-boarding Scot has a point. Titanic isn’t that bad and here’s why:
1) It’s got Kate Winslett in it. She’s almost as sexy as Allsop, with her posh voice and impressive gams.
2) Dicaprio gets killed.
3) It was indeed directed by the legend that is James Cameron
However there are a few points that aren’t in it’s favour
1) Celine Dion sang the title song which has since appeared in EVERY talent show since. And it’s Dion. Dear god. Why?
2) It has Dicaprio in it, and he just looks like one of those kids at school who used to spend all breaktime talking to the teachers who were on duty to make sure we didn’t hurt each other.
3) I knew what was going to happen from the beginning. I was like “Hmmmm… I reckon that ship’s gonna sink.”
4) A love story? WTF? What’s next? A musical comedy about Stephen Lawrence?
So it’s 4 bad points to 3 good points.
