I enjoyed it, I would suggest that in the future though we might look to invade another server for the evening, there are still about 200 running BFV. (I know we wouldn’t have admin etc (not that we did last night anyway) but for one evening it wouldn’t matter.)
That way we get to fight ‘foreigners’ and for those that did not wish to join in the prehysteria they could stay playing 2142 etc?
Thoughts?
Good idea Furface, I think we should do this for all nostalgia nights as those existing server will have more peeps, plus the puppies that play BF-SpaceCadets will stop whining

A recent study has shown that games like BF2142 change your way of thinking, sometimes for hours afterward.

ParticipantI could throw in a 80gb hard drive. But at the moment thats it, needs PSU, case and CD.
However, if anyone wants to wait till Jan, I will throw in my wifes old Lian Li PC60 case, with more drives and CD burner, DVD burner. It will still need a P4 D capable PSU, but naturally I would then be expecting at least 600 squid for it

ParticipantI have one standing next to my dustbin. I replaced it yesterday. The gaming keys are unusable, and the normal keys have started playing up. It is only about 6 months old. They are not worth the money. I would send it to you but the normal keypad is buggered.
I have just bought a Logitech G15 gamers keyboard, and so far it seems fine. Solid build quality etc. It has about 15 keys that can be bound for various games, but may be over the top for yer lad. I think they cost about £50 – £70.

You’d be surprised how many things that annoy so-called careful, sensible drivers are actually required for advanced driver qualification. ….. It would be wonderful if it were made compulsory for all motorists to train to advanced level: we’d all get along a lot better and roads would be happy places lol.
disclaimer: I’ve not taken official IAM lessons, nor have I taken/passed the test. That’s not my style.
Agreed,I have the IAM equivalent back home, and I also held a PRD licence when a youngster because I raced Formula V.
Everyone should learn how to control skids etc

If anyone badly needed a dirty bog shag
Reminds me of the time I pupped a bird in the Ladies loo of Diggers Grill in Pretoria. Some waitresses noticed the noise and raised the alert. When we came out we had an audience. It was a bit awkward because I used to work there and was hence known to the waitresses as “Cockroach”. Not that I gave a fuck, mind, as the bird was hot to trot and I for one, never let an opportunity pass, plus, I was so pissed that I have no idea what state the bog was in, just that I was in it.

I’m someone who overtakes all the time, though not typically in 30mph zones. happily at the grumpy bastard(s) who want me to suffer with them.
There is a time and a place for speed, and it is not in 30mph zones. They are there for a reason. Children, dogs, old fookers abound in such places. People who drive fast in these places really fuck me off, as the Kensington Arab found out who overtook me on Glouceter Road near Partridges one Sunday evening after I was returning from cricket. Naturally he had to stop at the lights, so I hopped out with my trusty GB Purist and remonstrated with him. He closed his window in a hurry so I gave his 7 Series BMW driver-side door a very hard kick as he pulled off. Was a fucking laugh to see him pulled over just before High Street Ken looking at the great dent while I drove past with a Victory salute. The stupid cunt
