try to pop in now and again, but i’m afraid i am no longer paying towards the server as of this month 😥 instead im donating towards the servers im playing on, would like to do both but cant afford too.
have also removed a few XDC from my friends list (those that havent been on for ages) as it gets cluttered and i have a load of Insurgency players on it as well.
Tbh i think that most ppl havent got the time for gaming any more or they have bought a console and turned gay. I cant really see a game bringing everyone together ala 1942, as as a rule life takes over. Im a lucky one my daughters at uni and lads at college, i work 12 hr days so the wife dosent mind my gaming ‘therapy’.
I’ve sort of found a new home with The OC (old c*nts) as they are in the same mold as XDC, and the Insurgency guys are into more realistic games. I do miss the chat in ts though 😀
game developers are only interested in the console generation and it will always be eye candy over playability, Insurgency has many faults, bugs and glitches but the mod developers stay true to there vision of how the game should be played.
The next game i buy will be by Tripwire, nobody knows what its called or about, but these guys are the only game developers i have faith in.
If you try Insurgency, im the guy leading the marines with a M9 🙂
Alzir and Wolf were on last night and did pretty well considering how confusing the game can be.hope to see some of you in game. 😉
yes i’m playing in a ladder and league for The OC Insurgency clan, Gra plays on the servers occasionally and Dazz plays a lot but is not interested in clan play at the moment.
good bunch of lads in the same vein as XDC, but to my suprise we have tactics for clan games 😯
we have a massive regular base of players, with no idiots, so you get good quality play most of the time, plus i can ban/kick any nubs that spoil the game.
exceedingly hard to get into, as most maps (push) involve marines attacking and insurgents defending, makes for dieing a lot as marine (my favorite) as a newb you spend most of the time dead and we loose a lot of new players because it is damn hard, but those that stick around find it very rewarding.
if you see me with a pistol (M9)…. you die, my fav weapon in the game, i throw away my m16 and play with just my pistol.
quality game if you put in the effort and at some stage it will be porting to the orange box 8)
got a clan match tonite 🙄
but i expect dazz will be on…..will get on after the match.

really into Insurgency at the moment (and Dazz n Gra), got admin on a few servers, and am playing in the ESL league and cup 😯
found a cracking bunch to play with, shame other xdc dont dig it….ah well
