The Pasmore Pavillion in Peterlee is a great example of a wonderful structure that was totally wasted on the locals.
Seriously, what a waste of space that looks. No doubt commissioned at the expense of some local council to the cost of local rate/council taxpayers. 😡
http://www.knowhere.co.uk/3895_goodbad.html <-- Local comments on Peterlee including the pavillion, not really relevant but made me laugh :)
Think Von sums it up well, these places probably looked great just after they’d been built, just like on the architects drawings etc. Then give them 20 years + of fine English polution and neglect from local authorities and they just look an eyesore, ready to be blow up by some kid on Jim’ll Fix It.

Happy Birthday mate.
The way I look at life is that the older you get, the worse the music on ‘Top of the Pops’ becomes, which is god’s way of telling you that the youth of today are all morons.
Now, when I was a lad it were different…
Aye I find myself listening more and more to Radio 2 these days 😥
Happy Birfday Badger!!

ParticipantTricorn Centre in Portsmouth is a prime example of those concrete monstrosities.
Fortunately they demolished the place last year (with considerable effort), shame they didn’t do the rest of pompey with it though 😆

There’s also a huge block of flats in Southampton that was given grade listed status, purely for extra funding from central government to maintain it. Can’t remember the name of the place, but it was designed to look like the bulkhead of a ship in all its concrete glory 😯

my point was that what followed BFV WAS BF2, a game that utilised a new engine and a completey different feel of play etc, and that hopefully what will follow BF2142 is something along those lines, a new game on a new engine.
Bloody Northerners! you really have to explain everything 😉
BF3000AD will involve virtual reality and we’ll all have to lay on the doctors couch type things in Lawn Mower Man wearing visors and full body reaction suits. Either that or it will be like the Matrix and if you die on the field of cambat well.. game over 😀

I think the Titan mode will prove very popular becuase it’s different and people will want to try it.
Looks almost the same as one of the modes from UT, think it was called Assault, but I could be wrong.
The maps I remeber involved you assualting a moving trasnsport/train/plane-spaceshiptypething and having to destroy certain objectives to get access to the next bit of the plane/train/transport
