It’s not just the unlocks that are fecked (well not mine) but the awards are all over the shop.
I’m missing a ribbon and medal from last night. In addition to that I have the ground base defence medalion and I’m over 100 repair point short to actualy meeting the requirement to have it 😕
Hehe I used Strontium_Dog right from when I started playing on-line (Half-Life DM), right through all the BF games until some bugger managed to register it before me on BF2 😥
Best tip ever for BF2142 – Dont ever ever ever ever ever stand next to any vehicle of any description what-so-ever.
And I mean ever, I got killed by just looking at a tank the other night.
Should have listened to Legit, the Support HMG unlock is a PoS…

It appears to have a slower RoF than the std gun and hits like a girl.
Ah well back to shooting tanks with a big FO gun 😀
I don’t mind what server you have, as long as it’s not a 64 player as they tend to get as laggy as feck.
Thanks Hippy – had to do the manual regedit in the end as the ‘fix’ file from the ea site was missing its file extension 🙄
Now to sort out TS 😀
It says they’re for the english-US version, should I still use them or do it manualy?
Oh and if the registery does mess up, how do you restore it using the back up? (sorry for all the questions 🙁 )
Think the EA Link server were all over the shop last night, my mate couldnt log into them either but as long as EA Link was running in the sys tray (connected or not) the game still worked.

Search under 2142 with ‘cd key’ as your search reference (the url was too long to display properly)
There’s also a BAT and REG file it says to use first before manualy (if req’d) editing the registery.
I’m a bit simple when it comes to registery stuff and quite scared to edit it, for fear of fecking up my PC. Are those two files likely to be an automated thing to correct the registery entry??
