I expected more shit from neutrals but you’ve both been gentlemen.
Hats off to both of you.Awesome film. Some real cerebral horror to go with the violence. The opening when he just ran and then looked back at the window with that music playing was one of the best scenes in a film ever. And the way his wife sealed her own gruesome fate with a kiss was grim.
Granted, there was some implausibility but these weren’t back-from-the-dead-zombies but humans infected with ‘rage’ virus and maybe Begbe’s family ties were strong enough to overcome the rage…. nah, you can’t justify it really but what a top film. Liked the Baghdad analogy too.
Much prefer the bleak, British [albeit Spanish directed] horror of these films to the usual Hollywood slasher stuff. Top stuff, especially watched in the dark with headphones.
Sorry Insane but this was the biggest pile of implausible wank I’ve watched in a long time. Respect for Costner playing a bad guy but then he was probably trying to resurrect his career. Sadly this ain’t gonna do it.
Speaking of wank though the one thing that kept me watching was Demi Moore. She is still hot, even at 44!
Felt the ending was a cop-out too – the scissors should have stayed where they were.
The cast make it watchable though – just.I’m not expecting anything to beat Afro Samurai for a long, long time but I’ll give this a go on the strength of your last recommendation.

I use total recorder for realplayer streams. It works great and naturally you can edit stuff out/in etc. I think I found it 🙄 on Oink if I recall correctly.

Yoyogi park is one of the few open, green spaces in Tokyo so you get all sorts in the park from martial artists to bagpipe players to a group of Tom Cruise-in-Cocktail wannabee bartenders as well as the obligatory skaters. It’s a cool place especially now summer’s here.
If I see him on Sunday, I’ll ask him if he gets paid 😀I enjoyed this a lot. It’s by Mike Judge (King of the Hill / Beavis and Butthead). The studio completely stiffed him on promotion (they didn’t promote it) apparently because he slagged off real companies so that’s why you may not have heard of it.
