Yeah i played ’42 a little while ago, little to no lag, no ctd, no random disconnects to ea wankserver……yeah we’ve come a long way.
And yes i am aware it took a number of patches to get the finished product but ffs they should learn from their mistakes. Took me over 10 minutes to join a game yesterday or at least a game that didn’t somehow disconnect me after 3/4 secs of loading.
Agreed, i was drawn back into 42 and DC for awhile over the summer and it was a pleasure not watching that bloody 2 spinning around whilst EA decided whether to let me connect.

I also load faster than most into the levels which is nice and not the other way round like in Bf2!

Well I was more expecting this to be tryed on a Wed or Sun, and see what the turnout was before dropping it into the most popular slot of the week.
But if thats what most peeps want, fair do’s.So it 42 first ?

We’ve tried this before, it failed. There just aren’t enough people playing/interested to do legacy games on a regular basis.

Got to agree with Snell there.
Most responses asked for a Friday, see the various threads.
As one cannot please everyone all the time, my attitude is please the majority and shoot the rest.

No good remembering maps but i loved the one with the tunnels and the
buildings apart from the sewers…..always got lost.Enjoyed being an engy(not only mines but a gun that fires mulitple shots)
