I will download it instead 🙂Saw this last night. Was reasonably OK, they could have left the woman and half an hour of melodrama out of it (why do yanks always fuck films up this way?).
Thank fuck I no longer sound that way when I speak. I must say, as a native, I think Di Caprio got the accent down rather well.
It was good, although I thought is accent was closer to Australian… and I thought he was a pussy at the end.

Bollox, and it was not just the accent, it was the choice of words and phrases. For example, only Rhodies use the word “munts” for blacks, South Africans do not. And I am not saying racism is right, I am saying they got some of the nuances of Rhodie speak right
yeh – the 1st thing i said to lis was ‘fuck me.. that guy sounds like phart on ts’ though i also detected the odd ozy slant now and then – on the whole i thought leo did very well
i thought the film was good – though i thought they could have put more enphasis on the evils fuckers – thousands of people lost limbs over there and the film does not really get this over
good film over all
as i have said before what the industry needs is a web site where i can go and make a donation to show my appreciation
