My two year old could have and infection 🙁
His urine is red, Has been for a couple of days. Took him to the doctor today and we’ve been told to take a urine sample to the pathology lab at the hostpital. Path lab says there is a one week turnaround for the sample which leaves us with a week of worry? Any advice ? He seems happy enough in himself, Just red wee

Could be just an infected urinary tract, just takes alot of fluids to flush it out apprently, and some antibiotics, hope all goes well.
OOPS – They made a mistake! It wasn’t a sample they wanted, They want him down there now. I’m off to take him to the hostpital now – wish me luck 😕
Nothing scarier than taking your wee man to the hospital for something unknown. Hope it works out – did for my boy a few weeks back.
yup, i second that, i hate hospitals at the best of times, but when you have to take the kids in.
Our boy had a weeks stay in hospital this time last year with some dodgeh virus that mean’t him being hookede up to all sorts of machines.

Hi all,
My boy (Ben) has to go for an ultrasound of his kidneys and lower bowels. Everybody keeps asking us if he’s taken a blow to the stomach and it’s really pissing me off!! He had a bit of rough and tumble with his seven year old sister but no major problems. He hasn’t been in any pain and seemshappy enough. I been told I can’t take any more special leave so the poor girlfiend has to get taxis to the hospital. I’m really pissed off 🙁
That being said I do get a lift from all ya nice comments and even a personal message from Max via msn (nice one!)
