hiya all, i keep having hasle with my belkin router……….it allows web pages to load fine as normal but on certain sites it just stops allowing me access!!! a prime example of a site i visit is:-
all works well for a few visits then i can no longer get access to the site unless i restart my router, this also happens with totalbf2142.com and a few others!!! it used to happen with our site but it seemed to stop.
I’m not sure if its anything to do with the particular programmes that sites run such as PHP etc and perhaps the router is picking up something on the sites that it perceives could be a threat but its starting to annoy me now…………
any ideas how i can resolve this ?? 😕

dont suppose you have access to another router you can try, or have you updated the firmware on the belkin?

yup, still having probs mate………….my bro in law has bought a belkin recently and his son can’t connect to certain websites with his mac laptop………..seems a similar problem to mine!
I’ve updated the firmware so shall see what happens…
not sure about rigging up belkins but you should be able to check out what settings you have by typing in your ip address in i explorer ( i think the default user and pass is u: admin pw: admin or pw:1234) anyhow once looking at how its set up there may be some security settings you may want to disable.
