I asked Vic to post this for me last night, but he didn’t 👿

Anyway, I have downloaded Hot fuzz, and I want to burn it to DVD. It’s a .cue and .bin file, I usually just watch these using Daemon, and really can’t work out how to burn it.

Just in case you reckon it’s just me being thick – Vic didn’t know either!!

I think you can do it using Nero burning Rom… but I have tried and failed in the past too.

    Good question that lady.

I tried Nero, it didn’t work (but I was using a free trial version).

Why aren’t you writing your dissertation????

Wtf am I paying you for!

I do actually have a rather interesting document about unemployment in the South West in front of me… apparently Gloucestershire has seen a 60% reduction in the last 11 years. Wow!

I think if you close the wizards in Nero or just cancel so you have nero open then find the “burn image” under the “recorder” options. Find the bin file not the cue and just ok everything or visa versa (cant remember) . That should work even on the demo I think.

Oh I got it now, it’s easy.

Drag the .dat file to your desktop, then rename the extension as .MPEG and then burn 🙂

I’m not writing my dissertation because I am writing up 3 experiments which need to be handed in tomorrow, then I will be revising for 2 fecking exams, also tomorrow, and then if I have time I will complete my 30 odd genetics problems, also to be in by tomorrow.
Jeez, us students are such lazy dossers 🙁

Right mouse on .cue file (may be called image file) then ‘open with’ ‘image files’ then knock the burn speed down, then burn it! You have to use a CD tho not a DVD.

Oh youve done it… never mind then!! 🙂

Ah I did get it to do something before I did it the other way, and it kept asking for a CD, and I wasn’t sure why. Now I know 😀

If you want a copy of Nero Burning ROM…just PM me. Only 32mb and comes with a KeyGen. Been using it for a year or more. Works great! It’s version 6.6.0.12 8)
