I cant remember if it was Spunker or Snell who sorted me out with my cute little snowboarding GIF previously… I dont have a clue how to get things in the right format.
Id like to make a similar sized GIF of me surfing.. can some1 point me in the right direction… or if its a quick job then do it for me? ๐ ๐ It needs to be small enough to be used as a forum avatar – but clear enough to be able to see what it is.
I got the GF to video me last night on a few waves – they are pretty small but its all the material I have to work with so far.
You can use SUPER รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฉ [freeware] to convert vids to gifs but I haven’t worked out how to reduce the file size yet.
They might be small but those are beautiful waves you’ve got there.Eggy does a fair bit off GIF stuff can’t remember what he used..Pinnacle Studio or something I vaguely recall?
Ah cheers guys. Trouble is I am kind of stuck without BB – so if I was going to download something to use it would have to be through my work computer – so cant be illegal and cant be a big file.
Maybe it was WET who did my last GIF? I cant remember TBH – but I liked the results.
I just want something similar – maybe a 3 second loop of me turning onto a wave.
hiya mate, i think it may have been spunker but i’d be happy to have a go for you……i normally use paint shp pro animation shop as well as film editiing software where the need arises.
Let me know the size your after, i’ll see if i can get the video file off the site you posted (save you sending it over the little wire again) and then i’ll have a go.

Heather has re-edited it for me and the wee video is now looking quite cool despite the waves being a bit crap… shes got a knack for these things I reckon ๐ I need to get some video of me in overhead waves now!
doc, i can’t lift the file off the website, the software i have only seems to work with youtube………any chance you can email it to me then i’l have a go for you.
I’ll try and do something creative for you if you like Gerry but you will have to wait at least till monday as I’m out and about on drunken bday weekend
